Looking at buying a friends 2012 Rzr 800 S. when I went to check it out the other day I noticed it didn’t have the fox shocks on it, this kinda through me for a loop because I cant ever remember seeing a S model that didn’t have the fox shocks. my buddy said he thought the same thing when he bought it he is the second owner of the rzr so its possible that the original owner swapped them out I guess. I’ve done some research and haven’t had much luck finding out if it was just and add on option or if it was suppose to come stock with the upgraded shocks. The fact that it doesn’t isn’t a deal breaker for me just kinda bugging me and wanted to see if i could figure it out before i bought it.

Converting to S
Hey guys I’m going to convert my rzr to an S and add the superatv 5" lift to it. I have had my rzr for just over a year and want to raise it up. I have a rackzilla rack for an S installed already (went with the S because of my forward a arms). Is there anything wrong with factory a arms or would a guy be better off buying the arched super atv ones.

I have a lot of sag in my stock springs. I’ve cranked them down a good bit for clearance (tires were rubbing fender because lift is arched but not forward, old catvos lift) but now my ride is terrible. What are my options on aftermarket springs? Budget is $400 to $500.

pinion shaft diameter
Does anybody know the diameter of the spline end of a 2011 800s rear diff and how many splines there are on that shaft?
Steering Question 11 800s
I bought my 800s about a year ago as a project vehicle. Trans was blown and rear diff was blown. After a year of saving and wrenching here and there as of last night its back together and moving under its own power. But I have a concern about the steering. I feel like it doesn’t turn as sharp as it should. I have no turning radius measurement or anything just going by feel here. Is this normal for a 800s and I’m just used to the newer models or should the 800s turn as tight as the newer ones do? Mine has no power steering BTW.

I’ve searched high and low….and it’s SOOO hard to find objective and honest reviews and recommendations for RZR repair in my area. I mostly do all my own work, but last weekend I and my 2014 S got a little cozy with a tree at Little Sahara and bent the main frame…. it’s an EXTRAORDINARILY invasive procedure, and since I’ll be filing insurance claim on it, I won’t be doing the work myself. I desperately need to find a good, competent, and honest repair facility local to the DFW area….Any help or recommendation or contact would be GREATLY appreciated….Thanks….Robin
Seized plugs
Are the plugs 17mm,this is a 2011 and it’s obvious they’ve never been changed,I put kroil on them last night,am I the only one that wants to go into Polaris engineering offices and tell them"you idiots are fired"and replace them with Japanese engineers who had this stuff figured out for years now,metric and sae crap every where,that assembly lines gotta be a joke.
Custom exhaust?
We have a great exhaust guy here that can make custom mufflers,I’d like to have him make one for us with two 2" out lets.will the fuel system adjust it self since there will be more air flow or can I adjust it myself.iv got a service Manuel for it but haven’t had time to go through it.obviously I don’t want to run too lean.
