2011 RZR S Fuel Pressure Drop

I just installed a new Quantum fuel pump in my 2011 RZR S. I had to take the fuel pump housing apart and install the new pump, and solder the wires. I then re assembled the pump housing and put it back in the buggy. The question i have is that before I changed the pump was getting a steady 20psi at the pump. Turn the key on it would build pressure to 20-22psi, turn key off and it would stay there. With the new pump installed, it will go up to 45psi then leak down to 0 instantly. Then I put the gauge straight to the fuel rail and started the motor. It stays at 45psi the whole time while running, but as soon as I shut it off the pressure drops off quickly down to 0psi. When I removed the fuel pump I noticed that the mason jar nut was cracked, so I have one ordered. Do you think that could be the problem? Any ideas what the problem is?
Thanks

Muzzy exhaust problems

Anyone have problems with their Muzzy exhaust. I have a 2009 Polaris RZR 800s and bought their dual exhaust. It is installed with a lot of springs and the mufflers are hung with a square rubber piece and nut that goes in the square frame of the Polaris. I noticed that the Driver’s side muffler has always rattled and the nut was stripped. I attempted to contact Muzzys through their website and was issued a contact number so they could contact me. I wanted to buy the rubber piece and nut so the muffler could be hung again properly. I’ve waited and no one has ever contacted me. I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the muzzys system or problems with them not responding through their website. It seems to me that once they have your money they don’t want to take the time to assist you with replacement parts. Perhaps I’m wrong, but it seems that way.:rm_thumbdown:

Clutch Mods… what will it do?

New to the forum and new to the RZR world.
Just did a frame replacement on a 2009 800S and plan on using it for pushing snow off the road and driveway in the winter and just screwing around in the yard and on some trails in the spring.

I don’t love the way this thing drives and takes off…
I think it’s the clutch… in reverse it feels really really heavy similar to that when in low range.

Would changing out the clutch change the way this operates?

Not sure if someone has already played with the clutch or not.
I know it has a one way bearing as you let off the gas and you come to a stop… who needs brakes…

Need help on tie rod end location

I bought a used RZR 800S and the original owner had put aftermarket tie rod ends on it. They are a lower profile than the OEM ones. He had the tie rod end on top of the steering knuckle. I am replacing them with OEM tie rod ends and when I place them on top they hit the wheel. My question is "do the tie rod ends go on the bottom of the knuckle"

Thanks,

Changed prop shaft

Just changed out my prop shaft and noticed an o-ring on the old one. The new one had a groove but no o-ring. Should I have put an o-ring in it? I really don’t see the point of having it. Don’t really want to pull the shaft to put one but I will if it’s needed for some reason.
Thanks.
