NorCal Rock Racing

Took third on Saturday at NorCal Rock Racing Round #2. It was a great race any of you guys in northern California should come join us for round 3 August 8th. The RZR still needs some fine tuning on the clutch but the Alba Racing stage 2 kit made a huge difference as well as the king shocks and the Super ATV arms helped a lot over the rocks.

Picking up new 900s, what are the “to do” essentials?

New to the forum, new to the 900s. Picking it up this week-Havasu Red. Ok my question is-what are the things I should do to it first, problem areas? That kind of thing. I’ve read a little on putting outerwears on the air filter, clutch intake that kind of stuff. Also thinking about front and rear bumpers wondering what options I have. I want to catch any problems before they start. Putting a little grease around the rubber on the sealing surface if the air filter? The little things that maybe Polaris didn’t think of. I want the lower doors too, which ones are best? Do they all come with the bolster covers that mount up higher above the door? Maybe this is far more than one question but these things aren’t cheap and I want to keep it tip top. Thanks in advance!

Need plastic and a fender

I was backing up in a tight trail Saturday night. A tree hooked my fender and ripped it off. it is the front passenger side fender and plastic that is damaged. I was wondering if anybody had any replacements for sale. it is a white lightning. I will post pictures as soon as I get home.

First RZR, First Problem, First Post

Bought my 15 rzr 900s about a month ago with 700 miles. Since then have put on over 200 miles.

Last ride, I noticed even just putting through any little bit of water the belt would slip. All day long. On the way home, after cruising the back roads for about 25-30 minutes, at 60mph the belt blew. First time in this situation. On the side of the road by myself I started to take off the cover. Noticing the bolts along the bottom were loose and one was half way out and I could see the gap inside. pulled out the pieces that I could of the belt. Put on the new belt and just took it easy for the rest of my ride home. Another 10 minutes or so.

Yesterday I pulled the cover and belt back off to make sure I put the belt on the correct way and wanted to clean it up better before my ride this weekend. Soon as I pulled off the belt this time I saw my primary clutch was cracked. Top to bottom. So at this point I am not sure if it was like that when I bought it, if it just happened etc. I live in Canada and the sxs is from the US so not sure if warranty is valid. But I want to ride this weekend. Kind of a bummer
