Steel Vs. Aluminum Wheels

After punching an egg sized hole in one my 900s rear wheels Saturday, I’m wondering if I should switch to steel rims. I’m new at the Rzr game and would appreciate some advice from more knowledgeable members. I imagine this topic comes up often…so bear with me please. I know one thing for sure. I will never go on another big ride without a spare.
Chime in and let me know the pros and cons of alum vs steel rims…thanks

Best exhaust for a 2015 900 S?

Wow, there is a lot to choose from. I know there will be lots of opinions, but would like to hear what people are using, if they like it and if it was worth the investment?

I may miss a few, but so far, the one’s I’ve started to read about are the following: (in no particular order)

Barkers Exhaust
Gibson Performance
Trinity Racing
Two Brothers Racing
Ron Wood Racing
HMF Racing
Big Gun Exhaust
DASA Racing
I guess Yoshimura is slip on only…

Engine temps

Hey guys, just curious to see what engine temps you’re running. Please include duration, elevations ( if it matters), ambient temps, etc. In comparison, mine has been running up to 204 when the fan kicks on then drops to around 192. This cycle keeps repeating. What I mean by reoeating is soon as it hits the bottom temp it starts rising again till 204, repeat. Normal? My elevations were above 3500′ / 78* F , low gear, variable speeds.

Carrying ~100lbs of cargo in bed, need advice on rear suspension

I have a decent amount of gear I’m carrying in the bed of my rzr and the stock springs make it feel like an overloaded pickup truck. The weight is most likely under 100lbs.

Just curious what everyone is doing to compensate when they are loading these rigs up a bit?

That weight did include a spare front and rear axle which I’m going to end up nixing to help cut down but still feel like my rear stock springs are squatting down pretty bad. The rzr has bout 300 miles on it.

Super ATV doors

Went to put on my doors today. HORRIBLE fit. Anyone else had this problem??

They looked great out of the box, but brackets didn’t line up with holes and the door wouldn’t shut without bending the door plastics a bit.

I’ve heard stories like this happening with SATV stuff, but figured I would give them a shot. Now I’m wishing I hadn’t 🙁

Anyone else have these doors with no problems? Maybe its just me, but I don’t want to have a door that doesn’t line up. for $300 I could have went another route.

Suspension Squeaks & Racket

This question is really for you guys that had an 800 S and now own a 900 S. Does your new machine squeak like the 800 S? I’ve done some of the changes around the forum to quiet my machine down, but I had heard somewhere previously that Polaris had tweaked the design and engineering to help prevent the type of contact that causes all of the noise. Just wondering what the real life experience is now that some of the machines have quite a few hundred miles on them. Thanks! :redrzr:

55” 2015 Rzr Xc 900

Does anyone think this will be tougher than a 60”? Is the body the same size as a 60”? It seems they only brought the suspension closer. Any help or insight would be great. Thanks, Ken
