4th of July ride with Rzr’s, Rangers, Teryx’s and Rhinos

Had a great 4th of July ride with many different side x sides, mainly Rangers, 570 and 900 S Rzr’s, Rhinos and Teryx’s.

We went 12 miles in 3 hours on some tight wooded Ohio trails. Every machine fit the trails good but the Teryx was the one that seemed like it had to make the 3 point turns the most. In the deeper mud holes and rutted creek crossings, the Teryx’s were second best only to the the 900 S Rr’s.

The power steering on the 900 S was amazing and anyone looking at a White Lightning without EPS really needs to think twice.

I spent a lot of time reading and looking at a lot of different side x sides before I bought my 900 S and I finally got to see a real life comparison Saturday night and couldn’t be happier.

will a 900xp clutch housing fit on a 900s

Guys,
I’m trying to figure out the clearance issue on the clutch cover on my 2015 900s. I hear that the 900xp covers are larger and was wondering if I could swap the rear plate and cover into my rzr. I know some of the aftermarket covers use the 900xp rear plate so I hope it will work. Thanks for any help

Gates belt dust.

Just installed a gates carbon belt. Cleaned clutches and used a scotch brite pad on them. I periodicaly check my belt drain for water when i ride in alot of deep water. I noticed alot of belt dust in the plug. Is that normal when the belt is new? No water in the belt. Also it doesnt feel like bike is as peppy with this belt. I remember with the stock belt i could roost all 4 goin around a corner. It felt like it grabbed much harder. I think im going to get a duraclutch…

starting problems

So Sat I put my new springs on rzr I took it for about 4 to 5 rides around property to settle springs while dailing them in started fine all day I go to load it Sunday it it had a hard time starting it finally started did it all day. Sometimes it would start right up but most of time it started hard like 4 to min of grinding on it. Any ideas

Spring Rate Exit Shocks

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on the set up I bought from ZBroz. I have a 900 trail with a SuperATV long travel kit. The kit is set up to run the stock shocks (50 inch model’s shocks), however they would not work for me. I ended up ordering ZBroz’s Exit shocks: Polaris RZR 900 50" Trail X0-IFP EXIT Shocks Polaris RZR 900 50" Trail X0-IFP EXIT Shocks. They are non-resi shocks. The reason I went with Zbroz’s was because they built the shocks specifically for the long travel and no sway bar. We talked back and forth a few times.

The front springs are 225lb and they seem perfect. However, the back are 375 and the thing feels like an ole straight axle jeep going down the trail. I do not have much time on the new shocks, but it just seems a bit heavy. I would thing 275 would be about perfect for the rear.

I will call them tomorrow. They have been really good to me. Great customer service. Does anyone have any input in the meantime?
