Blew out crank seal for 1st time at 200 miles. Blew out 2nd at 224 miles. Could my crankcase pressure be too high? How would i check that? Or any other reasons this is happening. No warranty.

Everything performed flawless , my rig is stock except for 14"sti wheels and 30" mongrels which did excellent at 10psi. We rode at the super lift orv park this weekend . The only thing I can see I would change is the shocks/springs "especially the front ". The stock ones seem to bottom out easily and have some pretty harsh rebound, especially riding in the rocks all day. Other than that I think the 900s will keep up with most anything with a few minor changes.

At about 180 miles my crank seal failed and ended my ride. Pulled motor, had seal replaced by dealer. Went riding one time, everything ok. Went riding yesterday and oil starts pouring out of belt box. Any ideas? My snorkel kit had me make my crankcase vent longer and make a couple loops to avoid getting water in the oil if i flooded it. Could that cause an issue? I would think that, thats just a vent. 2nd time this has happened. Not happy. New seal only had 18 miles on it!

So the title says it all. I haven’t found any so far, but I’m trying to track down factory offset beadlocks. I absolutely love the factory vehicle width where I ride and really don’t want to make any changes if at all possible (trailer accommodations also prohibit too much width increase). I’d also prefer to stay in the 12 inch wheel size.

Essentially I’d love to keep factory sized wheels and just change to a beadlock style wheel. I appreciate any and all help since I’m not getting very far.

This is my experience with a Gates carbon belt on my 2015 RZR 900S WL. I installed a gates carbon belt after reading a lot of good reviews about it. What i noticed right off the bat was a squeal from a dead stop, in low, high, and reverse. And the RZR felt "lazy." I noticed if i gassed it hard it felt like it would just rev up and speed up but didnt feel like it had any umph. Also noticed a strong burning smell and when i pulled my belt plug, it was full of dust. I put the stock belt back on and its back to feeling normal. Now when i gas it, it throws my head back in the seat. No more squealing or burn smell. Not bashing gates, just sharing my experience.

I have been reading alot latley on some engine performance for the new 900S and the best/only thing I came up with is the BMP Tuner. Does anyone have any insider knowledge? Everyone keeps saying how a coulee different companies are working on engine mods, but in all reality how far away are they till they actually release anything? One example is seeing a dyno sheet posted to a fourm but yet no products are available. One major upgrade will be a full system exhaust but the only one I like is Barker’s, who knows when that will be dne, next yr! I’m rdy to really turn this 900s into a beast, and put more power to those wheels.

Well maybe it’s a better solution to all the problems that people has had with the 900s belt issues.

I am in NC and cannot get my local dealer to work with me on price. The 900 s eps is listed right now on Abernathy’s website for 13,5. That is 2500 cheaper than I can get it here, so I am considering the drive, but have these questions

1) If I have a warranty issue, will my local dealer hold it against me that I did not buy local?

2) I have seen the conversations about renting a uhaul trailer, sounds like guys have done it and works out pretty well. I just don’t want to haul my empty trailer all the way down there.

3) Are there any other downsides to not buying from a local dealer? I am going to assume these units at Abernathy’s are brand new machines, they don’t have any hours on them?

What is Abernathy’;s doing to get the prices so low?
