GPS Tablet Setup

I am looking to put a tablet in my rzr to use for GPS to get around on the HMC and Outlaw trails. I have the maps and Orux app on my android phone but want a tablet setup for ease of use. Any recommendations for a tablet with good gps features that would work. Must not require wifi or cell service for the gps to work. Not sure on how to mount it in the rzr but somewhere to easily view the map. If anyone has done this would really appreciate the information.

Air Fuel Ratio Adustment and Heat

2015 900S EPS with 36 hours on it. The rear engine/cargo passenger seat area is getting hot. The coolant temps are fine but the radiated heat is super high. Just had the dealer change the oil for the first time so Polaris can’t do any complaining and had him hook up to the PC port and check my AFR and asked him to make it a little richer and see if we could get the temps down a bit. Service guy messed for several hours and said that after some research he found out he can only READ the ratio and can not make it richer or leaner. Stated that in 2014 Polaris changed this so they could not re-adjust it and I would need to purchase a tuner and plug it into the fuel injectors and wire it up.

Is this true ? Service shops can no longer adjust the AFR on the 2015 models ? If you were to need to buy a tuner what is a good model to get? I am not a racer but mostly slow rocks so low end torque is where I like it but don’t want to kill too much of my top end. If I get a tuner should I be taking it to a dyno shop to actually do some real world adjustments ? If that is the case, should I be tossing a new exhaust at the same time before the dyno?

Rzr S 900 or 1000

Very soon, I’ll be upgrading to a new machine from my 2012 rzr S. I will definitely be looking at another 60" rzr, but go with the 900 or 1000? I understand they’re the same machine except for the engine. Abernathy’s has the 1000 priced $1200 more than the 900. Is $1200 worth 25 hp? I know I could get a BMP tune on the 900 and have less money invested with fairly similar horsepower. My worry is a tuned 900 won’t have the longevity of a stock 1000. I have close to 6,000 miles on my 2012 S so reliability is my main concern.

fuel delivery cycles with key off. intermittent

This morning I walk into my garage and I heard a clicking coming from my machine. Turns out it’s coming from fuel rail. Key is off and when I unplug the harness at the tank it stops and my lights turn on. Key off as well. It doesn’t do it constantly, it’s intermittent but time isn’t a factor, I assume it did this off and on all night last night. Any ideas? Voltage regulator? I have about 1k miles. 2015 900s

Park not holding?

So, I was out riding Saturday and I had to stop on an incline. I put it in park, opened the door, and just as I was about to step out, clunk,clunk, clunk, it starts rolling backwards and making a horrible skipping sound…so I turned it more sideways on the hill and it seemed to hold fine…
I checked the adjustment of the cable, seems to be good. So my question is, internal damage? Anyone else have this issue? Anything else I can check before letting the dealer check it out? My warranty will cover this right?

Crank seal clogged oil passage

I think i have a passage clogged. Blew out first crank seal. Had dealer replace it. 12 miles later, blew again. Replaced seal, 15 miles later blew again. Im thinking oil is goin behind the seal but cannot drain back into sump. Eventually blowing seal. Im thinking if i remove the seal , take the breather hose off the intake, stick my air compressor nozzle in there and blow air into it i should be able to feel air coming out of the passage behind seal, if not its clogged. Sound like itll work? Is there a way i could unclog it from the outside like w a small pipe cleaner or sumn?

Considering selling my RZR

Thinking of dumping my 2015 900s for a 1000s. Has 107 hours on it and 800 miles. New brakes all around, new bushings, snorkels, lower doors, spare bel and stock tires that only have around 200 miles on them. I’ll probably change out the rear springs. Keep in mind that I live in FL, the riding here almost requires snorkels.

I was thinking of asking $13,500 without the tires or roof. Am I being realistic?

A Arm Bushing Size

Does anyone happen to have the measurements off of the a arm bushings and sleeves. Front and rear by chance Have an idea and don’t have my RZR at home to check them and cant get to it until next week.
