My s900 transformation

Got 5" cage chop done yesterday and am starting on making frames for DOT front and rear glass today. End result will be s900 chopped 5" with front and rear glass, single arm wiper with fluid reservoir, under dash heater with defrost and dash vents and carbon fiber roof. Have pics of chop process and will take more of today’s fabbing and will try to get em posted tonight.

900 or 1000S

Im in the market for a used rzr. I have a 2012 800. Well Im finding great deals on some used 900s and actually finding some 1000s used already SO, is there a significant difference in power between the 2? Is it worth the extra $ for the added power and are they both reliable? I only ride tight trails with hill climbs. Can a 900 be modded to outrun a stock 1000?

Securing an AR15

Anyone have any ideas how to secure an AR15 to a 900S RZR while off roading in the mountains to get to a hell of a good range. Where nobody is so they don’t care about rapid firing all Without causing any damage to it

Summit Heater Install

Well I installed my heater into the 900s last night.
Great heater at only 135 bucks! The dash braces in the 909s do not have the cross brackets like the 1000xp’s have. I took two aluminum angle and mounted the heater to it. I then used self tapping screws and mounted the aluminum angle to the upper frame rail… Worked like a charm! It’s solid…!!
Then my buddy wired it in, I ran two heater lines to the oil cooler and everything works like a charm… Ready for the cold weather now!!

Tire weight question

At what weight will tires become too heavy for a stock 900 motor. I’m sure other parts are a weaker link, axles, diff, clutch. But with all that upgraded/ignored just for discussion. what is the ideal tire/wheel weight on a stock motor.
