Lost keys

Ok so ask me how i dont know but i lost my keys to my 2015 900s any suggestions how to get another key or something i had a night ride planned tonight and now im screwed

How much air does an XP900 need (CFM)??

So just to start off, I’ve used the search button, googled, binged, yahooed, ect ect. Im looking for hard evidence of how much air an xp900 consumes at 100% throttle stock or boosted.

I’m building my own intake with a Donaldson filter that will not restrict airflow like the ump. I want it to be more efficient than stock, and not be a bottle neck in the system

My plan:

Donaldson Canister (which one IDK yet, need #s), to stock intake location with adaptor for 3 inch piping, XP1K airbox plemun, and an alba billet intake manifold.

Thoughts??

Help Check Engine Code 636

I have a 2015 900s white lightning, two weeks ago it starting running terrible like it had jumped timing or in limp mode finally the check engine light came on and had a 636 code. Took it to my local dealer and they replaced the crank position sensor and found a faulty wire that feeds the sensor, got it back yesterday and put 2 miles on it and same problem occurred, RZR is only 4 weeks old with 40 miles, any suggestions?

Thanks

Now Available 2015 RZR 900 HMF Exhaust Systems

Check out the two new exhaust options for your 2015 RZR 900 from HMF.

RZR 900 HMF Swamp Series Slip On Exhaust

HMF Swamp Series Exhaust for the 2015 RZR 900 certainly lives up to the reputation of being one of the loudest, baddest and lightest slip ons on in the UTV industry. The standard swamp series exhaust measures out at 85db while the swamp series xl tops out at 88db.

The Swamp slip on weighs in at 9.5lbs and the XL weighs in at 8.5lbs saving 5lbs and 6lbs over stock respectively.

RZR 900 HMF Performance Series Dual Exhaust

HMF is known for their UTV exhausts, and their performance series is the top of the line. This full system dual exhaust for the 2015 RZR 900 not only weighs less than the stock exhaust but will give you a 3 HP gain at higher RPMs as well as 1.5lbs TQ to the wheels. Unlike a slip on exhaust that will only reduce weight, a full exhaust will actually give you more power.

The RZR 900 performance series exhaust produces the legendary HMF sound. With out the quite cores the exhaust will definitely be loud, however for those looking for something a little quieter the quite cores bring the decibel level down to 88db, which is only 4db louder than stock. Often times riders find that the exhaust actually produces more power the quiet core installed.

2015 rzr 4 900 overheating

what i know:
1. brand new machine, had about 3.5 hours of breakin at the house, varying speeds and temps.
2. day 1 of trip, put 6.5 hours of trail riding in the woods, brimstone TN. good mix of speeds, hills. mostly low gear. did get into high gear a few times on the street
3. 10 hour oil change on the as prescribed by polaris, used the PS-4 oil change kit
4. day 3 of trip, loaded down with 4 people and cargo. ran great in the woods. mostly slower, more technical trails. came out of the woods to hit the streets heading to the cabin. put in high and ran for about 3 miles and started to overheat, 230′, temp light came on and engine limiter came on. did this 4 times on the 7 mile trip to the cabin

things to note:
1. i didnt wash the bike after the previous night ride. entire bike was pretty much covered in mud.

2. radiator was muddy, but not too bad

3. when i would stop, i was low on gas, so i would turn the engine off, but keep the fan running. thinking back, this was the wrong procedure as the fan was only cooling the coolant in the radiator and not allowing the coolant to flow back to the motor (i think….)

any ideas of whats going on….
1. mud + load + high gear on streets caused random high temp???

i am going to check cap pressure and system pressure this weekend. also going to bleed the system.

let me know if anyone has any good input. i searched but didnt find much on these new 4 seats

thanks!

Please help 2015 900 S limp mode

Hey Guys I’m new to the forum and it looks great. I just bought a 2015 rzr 900 S. Took it out and ran perfect for about 5 miles. When I stopped on a trail the engine started stuttering and engine light came on. I believe it went into limp mode but I was able to get it home. I see two error code 520277 and 520284. My dealership isn’t open until Tuesday so very frustrating. Has others had this problem and what exactly is it?
Thanks

Help with No Spark – RZR 900XP

Hi all – I am hoping some of the members can help me trouble shoot an issue. I am at wits end trying to find the problem.

I have a 2011 900XP which quit on me while riding the other day. When it quit, I was riding on a flat road at about 10 mph. Before that, I had been in sand and some trails, but had ridden on the flat road for roughly 1/2 mile. Here is the information and what I have tried:

– NO SPARK –

– Gauges and all other electrical items (lights, etc.) work.
– The crank position sensor has been checked at swapped. Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%)
– The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms. I have never seen a coil fail both sides at once and a shorted coil should be lower resistance.
– No error codes
– I have checked the fuse box and did not find anything.
– I have checked the main ground and it is clean and solid contact.
– The RZR has aftermarket shoulder harnesses and a chopped cage. I have heard of a switch for the seat belt but can not find it.

I am assuming it is a switch or a wire that is cut somewhere. Shy of taking the whole thing apart, where should I start looking and are there any other likely suspects?

Thanks in advance.

Keith

What causes this?

I have oil consumption issues on my 2012 xp and I pulled the plugs this morning to see what they looked like. Well one looks like the ceramic is melted or something and they are a tan color. Do you guys have any input? Thanks Dane
