Rear width, what i did

I didnt like that the trail model 900 is almost 52 inches wide in the back. I want to go on 50 inch gated trails and not have to squeeze through and hope i fit. I put an 8 inch wdte tire on the rear and didnt like the way it looked at all. I found some reviews that stated the 9 inch black diamond tires measure 8 inches when mounted so i gave it a try. I put 26x9x12 black diamond xtr on the rear and that made it a good inch narrower than the stock pxt. I am just a hair over 50 1/2 inches wide. Still over 50, but i feel i have done all i can do to stay within the rules. The only thng i might do different would be to go with a 27 inch tire if the mounted width was the same as these tires run short. Thanks for looking. Like it or hate it, just wanted to share what i did.

Looking for an aggressive, bottom end clutch kit!

Hey guys, new to the Rzr Forums ( same screen name on the Polaris ATV Forums) Just traded my Sportsman 1000 in for a 900 trail. I’ve got 28" Mega Mayhems and a QSC clutch kit. I may want to upgrade to a better kit( something more than just weights and springs)

Can you guys advise on a good kit for the 900 trail and where would I get it? Looking for great bottom end torque. We don’t do much high speeds in the woods or on the trails but love to power slide! Thanks

Doors

want to get some full doors for my rig and narrowed it down to blingstar and super atv

Bingstar doors I wanted from day one but I ride in a lot of woods with sticks and brush and think they will be scratched to all hell in one ride . Also think they would dent also.

The super atv doors won’t dent and probably won’t scratch as bad. Also I like the way they are molded to the lines on the rzr.

Hmmm:popcorn:

anyone try this yet?

Looking at wheels and tires. I was thinking, why not just go to 15 inch wheels and getting like BFG’s, Nitto Grapplers or the like versus getting UTV tires?

I mean, hell they work on Jeeps and Off-Road trucks, why wouldn’t it work on our RZR’s?

Tusk accessories for 2015 RZR 900 Trail?????

Anyone else having problems finding aftermarket accessories for your 2015 RZR 900 Trail?

To make a long story short, we are having problems finding Tusk accessories for our new machine. We REALLY like the Tusk UTV Rear Bumper, Cargo Rack, & Spare Tire Carrier:

Couldn’t find our machine under the list provided by Rocky Mountain ATV for this product so we gave them a call. After a lengthy discussion and a call back from them, they can’t even confirm that this product will be made for our machine even though it is made for every other RZR manufactured. Scratching our heads on this one.

The other Tusk accessory we want is this:

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p…0quiet%20glide

But once again, it is not made for our machine at this time. Rocky Mountain ATV told us they "may" be able to get these in by mid July. Didn’t sound very reassuring though.

I don’t want to sound unreasonable but our machine has been out nearly a year and Rocky Mountain ATV (Tusk brand) can’t tell us whether or not they will make such a popular selling accessory for our machine?

We could always look at other accessories from other manufacturers but we like the price and quality of the Tusk products and we like our past dealings with Rocky Mountain ATV. Anyone have any insight on this issue?

2015 RZR 900 XC Edition on 50″ Trails

I have been shopping for a RZR for about 2 months now and I struggle with which model to get. After doing some research I feel the 2015 900 XC is a good compromise, but I’m fearful it won’t work for 50" limited trails. I’m finding that the XC RZR has a width of 55" due to the suspension. Do any of you ride on 50" trails with this model? I’m new at this and I’m not sure how this is enforced or is there wiggle room?

Thank you for any suggestions or advice!

Trailer Suggestion/Help

Howdy all,
New to the site and new to the Rzr world. Just bought a 900 trail that’s sitting at the dealership waiting to be picked up, I just need to find a trailer to go get it. Do any of yall have a picture of your Rzr loaded up on a 5 x 10 trailer?
