Ready for first service!

My buddie and I decided a quick trip up to Maine was needed to break in our new machines.

We arrived about 20:00 Thursday and just clocked 17.9 hours and 217 miles. The machines where GREAT! It was amazing both of us really noticed them smoothing out about fourth hours in.

I learned a couple things… The windshields are useless in dust and there is always dust. :). Even with heavy rain most of the night Thursday. By noon we where taking turns leading and choaking down dust.

Man do there pipes get hot!! Both of ours are rainbow purple!! Power and ha delink was amazing. HUGE step from the old model and light years from my 700 EFI.

TODAY I WAS SO COMFORTABLE DRIVING THREE TIMES I TRIED TO USE THE TURN SIGNAL! LOL
Last night we got back to camp about 19:30, my buddy brought out two beers and I sat in the RZR for over a hour relaxing. (We did not bring any chairs)

Gonna load them up tonight for the trip home early tomorrow. Man they are FILTHY!

Gonna do a service over the next couple weeks along with a set of wheel spacers and side view mirrors. I also think I’m gonna "harvest" the L&R from my half windshield, but two more and make my own full screen from lexan for rain days.

Ooh something else. Gonna make extenders for the roof sides. Rain sold your shoulder because of the "scoop" inwards??? The old ones had same silly design flaw too. I think I can use a brake and fasion up something good looking and serviceable.

Pics when I get more then one bar later tomorrow or next week. I very happy with this machine!

2015 RZR 900 trail, wire left unplugged??

Hello:
Just doing maintenance on my 2015 RZR 900 trail with EPS and rear diff unlock feature.
I noticed a 2 wire plug left unplugged from factory, I need help to figure out what it is for.
It is located on the drivers rear diff. just above left rear axle, it has a mate to plug into but it was left unplugged, the 2 wire female mate plug goes to a screw on can just above rear diff. axle , it almost looks like a oil filter with 2 wires coming out of it.
I was thinking it might be for the rear diff. unlock or turf mode feature this machine has on it.
What do you think???

Thanks
kenner

22 hours and check enguine light comes on.

Only had the rzr for 22 hours
Fired her up drove about half a km when the check enguine light came on and she wouldn’t do much above 10 (almost lik my seat belt was unbuckled) so I limped her home . Being curious about 15 mins later I hopped in. Buckled up and she ran fine no check enguine light or anything. Should I be worried at all? Any idea what caused this?

Mongrel tires leaking

So bought brand new 28/10/14 mongrels on m20 14×7 wheels also new and all four are leaking at the bead . Wtf lol . How could all four tires be defective that’s just crazy . Should I have them dismounted and remounted ? Never had this problem . I posted this in the tire and wheel thread but no action really .

Overcharging problems

So 2 weeks ago my bike died on the trail and it was close to midnight so really couldn’t diagnose the problem, so I read some other threads and saw that people had having problems with the regulator so I took mine off and could smell the burnt insulator so I started picking it off and saw that one wire from the stator had completely came off the board and the positive wire to the battery had came un soldered and was arching off the contacter, so I went and bought a new one because it would’ve been a month in the shop for warranty work and I put it on today rode for about 30 minutes and it starts overcharging!! Least to say I’m a little irritated but I came to see what y’all’s opinion is about it!
Thanks in advance
