Fixing to buy 2015 900 ????

Hello Fam!

well the wife wants my 800 and i want a new 900 Mn has 50 inch trail so i no i need a trail one But little reading here Im guess with the wheels from a trail will make a Xc a 50inch ?? If so Whats the Difference between the Xc and trail .. As of right now i can go anywhere with my 800 on your tight turn trails with the eps little gas and alittle sliding around trees we get anywhere with it… So now Im gonna assume the Xc is a better 900 over the trail.. We do have the Soo line and soo pits and my town we have our own riding /trail/mud/pits So some wot driving hill climbing whoopies and tight trail riding Not mention some flying down the frozen river But like i said im limted to 50inch.. what kind of deal should i look for/talk down the dealer? any thing i need to ask? any thing i might have miss that you guys can help with right now the currant deal at our local shop is 14,799.00 with 1k back already qualified for a loan on it..

July 4th ride

We decided to get away from our lot at Cascade Idaho for the day so we took off that morning and knew it was planned to be a long ride, but ended up being a little longer than we thought…We ended up with 248 miles leaving on the 4th at 8:00am and returning at 12:04 on the 5th, with no sleep overs anywhere along the way..

For those of you locally in SW Idaho…. We left our lot on West Mt Rd(by Tamarack) and met up with 2 other couples and crossed hiway 55 at Clear Creek Station and then south by Herrick Res to Sixty Ln in Round Valley and up to the south end of East Mt trail and road it to Cougar rock heading to Stolle Meadows but had to turn around due to road closure.. So we back tracked and made our way to the Warm Lake road(here in Idaho we can ride county roads legally) and went to Warm Lake Lodge and bout some ice for our coolers..From there we continued up the hiway to Landmark and took a left on Johnson creek rd.. From there we took the old Thunder Mt Trail to Riordan Lake , from there we took a new trail(something our local club and Forest Service have been working on for a couple years) to connect(loop) to the road that goes to Meadow Mt Lookout.. Then we went to the road that drops into Stibnite and on into Yellow Pine and was happy to pay $5 a gallon for fuel(we weren’t totally prepared for this far even though we all packed extra gas for trip).. We left there just as fireworks were starting and headed for home down Johnson creek again to the warm Lake hiway and into Cascade just as everyone was leaving the show there .. Made our way through traffic and around south end of lake and back up West Mountain road to our lot…. It was a great day!!!!! Here are a few pics from the day….

50″ Trail models??

I don’t want to pee off anyone but isn’t this the 50" trail thread?? I keep seeing more and more people posting things for the XC which if I’m right is not a 50" There are threads that start right off with the XC questions. I mean if something about the XC comes up in a 50" trail discussion than that is different.

If I’m mistaken then please forgive me. I’ll go away and sit in my corner again.

Shock upgrade bandit vs stock

To the guys with bandit shocks or any gas shock upgrade is it like night and day ride and feel wise? I’m thinking of buying a set of bandit piggy backs this week for my 900 trail. Kind of tired of the stock shocks and the popping noises the front makes . I here that has shocks with really make the machine ride much better but I want to here from you guys that have compared them with stock. Thx
