Ok, who has had their RT springs for a while and can give a honest review of their merits/flaws.
My OEM springs on the XC are pissing me off. Riding every day here on vacation and have had to crank the preload up twice and need to do it again.(500Miles of combined road, rocky trail, wooded trail.) The keeper springs are totally flat/ compressed. Combined accessories and riders = 600lbs+/- plus machine.
Fronts are holding fair, not hitting bump stops, but close. Rears totally wacked, tires are back to being canted in at top by 1 1/2" after yesterdays ride. Ground clearance reduced by 2". ( wife and another passenger)(semi conservative driver)
I need springs bad, just want GOOD springs. I’m looking for a spring that rides soft, doesn’t hammer your teeth out when riding slow, (wife driving), yet can take the occasional punishment of hard, high speed rough dips and woops, and not flatten out in 500 miles.(me driving) Without buying a third machine, Currently running compression dampening at 10 clicks.

I emailed my specs to RT last night.
Sorry if this is a rehash, but the search process can be a pain in the butt sometimes.

Hi All, this is only my 2nd post here, been reading everything that is written about the 50 inch trail.
I was wondering what parts/items that I should have on my 2015 eps trail as
I have only had it 2 weeks now. I had the roof, 1/2 wind shield (should have gotten the full), and Polaris nurf bars, and a 3500lb winch. Gonna add bottom doors and later change to different tires and possibly wheels. Was wondering if I should put a full skip guard, to include guards for the swing arms both front and rear and some led lights.
I am looking to get some bigger tires for my 2015 Trail EPS. My main reason for wanting to replace the stock tires is to gain some valuable ground clearance. Therefore, I am looking at something in a 28". I ride 90% trails and 10% gravel roads/asphalt. The trails I ride are a mix of mud, hard pack and creek beds. (typical West Virginia terrain)
I think I have narrowed my tire choices down to Rocktanes or Blackwaters. I want a tire that will wear good on the hard stuff (not ride rough) but still do ok in the mud.
My questions are:
1. 12" or 14" wheels. I am leaning toward 14" in an effort to reduce the risk of breaking a wheel by wedging a rock between the wheel and caliper. Does anyone make a 14" steel wheel???
2. 7" 4+3 wheel or 8" 5+3 wheel? (assuming I go 14" dia.) I know this will negate my 50" width but I feel it would be a fair trade for the slight gain in stability. plus, I can reinstall the stock wheels/tires if I need to meet a 50" restriction.
3. Blackwaters or Rocktanes? (Rocktanes are about $75 cheaper) I am open to tire suggestions as long as they meet my needs and don’t cost $200 each.
4. I was wanting to go with a 10" tire width on all 4 corners, does any one see any issues with this?
Over the 4th of July I was doing some riding in Northern Michigan and a rock/piece of debris damaged my rear passenger brake line right at the banjo bolt. The brake fluid leaked out of that line and out of the main reservoir and I lost all braking capability on the machine. The machine does a decent job stopping once you take your foot off the throttle so it wasn’t a huge issue.
I ordered the replacement brake line and was curious if anyone has had to replace a brake line on their machine and if so, can you provide any insight or advice as to the replacement. Will I have to bleed the entire brake system when I add the new fluid or just the line that was damaged?
Just got the 900 trail couple weeks ago, looking into a new wheel an tire set up. Would anyone know if 28" intimidators would fit without lift? If so what offset wheels would I need for them not to rub? Or would I need to lift it?
