Has anyone installed the cover and ducting off a 900S 4 seater? I saw a thread where someone put one on a 900S race car to help with belt cooling. I received the cover and intake port today but the hose and cover seal wont be here until next week. Not a lot of room between the intake box and the fender. May have to plumb it differently.

I am looking for a set of spare rims and tires… think I have found an option, but the fronts would be 9 inches, 1 inch more than stock and the rears would be 11 inches, 2 inches more than stock.

Has anybody done this?

Any issues for clearance and such?

Any reason not to do so?

Any thoughts on this are welcome…

This is my first post. I recently purchased a trail 900 EPS and i am pretty impressed so far. My wife has a 570 and after driving my 900 she now wants to sell the 570 and buy a 900. My question is, she loves the wheel/tire combination on the 570 and she wants to swap the wheels on the two Machines. She has STI HD3 4+3 wheels with kenda Bearclaw HTR’s on her 570 and I am pretty sure they will bolt up to the 900, but I will have to buy larger lug nuts. Is this correct? Will the stock alloy wheels and tires from the 900 fit on the 570?

Got code 520208 while riding today. Seem like 4wd wasn’t working either.
Came home cleaned machine. Notice headlights weren’t working. Checked codes again 520208 & 746

Does anyone have a canvas cab for the 900 trail? Saw one or two with the Polaris upper doors. Only problem is I chopped my cage about 4". And I have the emp cooter brown roof. Can someone with Polaris upper doors post how the match up around the roof area and seal? I called A2Z canvas and they said they can make me one. Also, what full windshield are you guys happy with. Glass or lexan? I would only use the full windshield in winter when plowing. Thanks

Anyone know where to buy tie rod parts as opposed to Polaris’ entire tie rod assembly?

Just about done with the break-in on my 2015 900 Trail and am wondering what gear you are using in the dunes. It is my understanding that it’s not good to lug the engine in high gear. Is this true? How fast can one run without causing problems in low gear? From past experience with quads wheel spin and speed are a must on steep hills. I’m afraid low gear may be too low. Any advice or experience will be appreciated.

I’m looking at getting some new tires. I want something that is good in rocks and dirt and some mud. I want heavy ply ratings for running in the rocks. I also want to go a little wider for the front to give the wheel some protection. Last trip out I messed up the finish on the front wheels pretty good. The rear size is fine as the tires are a little wider than the rims so gives them some protection. The front tires look to be a little narrower than the rims so if you slide on a rock it beats up the rim. I want to stick close to the original size for 50". I already have 1.5" spacers so can’t go much wider as I ride narrow trails. I just barely fit through some spots now.

What are your recommendations for good all around tire and what size for the front?
