Took the new rzr out for the first time on sat and it quickly developed a loud clunking sound anytime I was on uneven ground. You can feel it in the floorboard like someone just hit it with a hammer but the sound is coming from the back somewhere. My buddy also has the same issue on his new 900s. Is this a normal noise?
hey. just bought a 2016 RZR 900 trail. it comes with 26" tires on 12" wheels and has 11" clearance. took it to Blue Royal in TN yesterday and only have one complaint: need more clearance. I did a lot of sliding through the ruts and hit a lot of big rocks underneath. At the end of the day, i was slowing way down to avoid things instead of ride over/through them. no bueno. anybody out there have a tire/wheel/lift combo that helps out BUT doesn’t make the 50" trail model seem top heavy or unstable? just 1.5" inches would help out a lot even if it’s just tires. also, i don’t want it to compromise anything this thing can already do. it’s amazing! thanks in advance for any help.
Good day all,
So I noticed that my 2015 XC is sitting much lower to the ground then when I bought it. I have max 15 hours on it and have about 7" of clearance. I remember it being higher when I bought it… also After about 10 mins of riding I start to hear thumps coming from the spring/shock area. Not like it’s bottoming out or anything, I think it’s just when the spring/shocks are extended and then start to compress is when I hear it.
I have that recall notice I have to bring it in for but I want to try and see if I can fix this issue before I bring it in.
I have the Polaris Cooler box for my 900 Trail, I really liked it, works great. Well my wife wanted better seat belts, so I upgraded or got the Polaris 6 point retractable seat belts but now the Cooler box does not fit because of the seat belt retractor is in the way.
Very bad design Polaris….
So, just an FYI for anybody considering one or the other…
Is anyone using this grease on their RZRs? I know Polaris isn’t known for their bushings lasting. I have replaced several sets on my Sportsmans so I am looking for a better grease that may proong the bushing wear on y RZR. Green Grease | The Best Grease Money Can Buy!]
Hello. I’m a new member here and wanted to know if this was the section I should use when I have questions pertaining to my friends 2016 RZR 900 base?
I just picked it up for him yesterday and cant wait to take it out once he gets/ assembles a Harbor freight folding trailer and hidden hitch for his new STi. So far I told him a plastic roof and windshield are must buy items, lower doors would also be nice.
I like how its a base model with a big engine which you can build upon kinda like muscle cars use to be like the Roadrunner.
I just purchase the Polaris Digital Display unit and it comes with nothing about hook-up.There is a wire harness that runs from the GPS ant and at the end of the harness there are 2 plugs.Does anyone know where theses are suppose to go,I thought it not back of display because there is no match there.Any Ideas would be helpful.
Thank You
We attended the Rocky Mountain Jamboree in Sept in Richfield, Utah, where Polaris UTV’s were the ride of choice.
At a chance encounter at a gas station near the fairgrounds, we met a guy who had a rack/rear cage he had copied from his son that was absolutely ingenius.
The top of it had rails and a mesh bottom on top of which he stored two folding chairs and a gas can. But here’s the really neat part: by pulling two pins on the top, it folded down in back to form a picnic table for which the mesh was the table top.
He had a muffler shop form/bend the tubing and he did the welding and painting.
I took some photos, but don’t know how to post them to this site.
If I had thought about it, I would have gotten his name and number, but we were both rushed pumping gas.
