So yesterday needed to use the RZR to move some rocks around the yard in the back. I fired it up in the Garage, and started right away. I let it warm for like 30 seconds before trying to move, and then anytime I tried to move it, then engine would cut out and check engine light would come on. If I let off, the engine would idle fine, and check engine would turn off. I changed to RPM on guage and it seemed anything over 1800 rpm is when it would cutout.
I then let it idle for about another 90 seconds and then tried to go again. It did the same thing cut out. I kept trying and then about 5 minutes in, it magically cleared up, I was able to go, and acceelerate without any issues.
This is on a bone stock 800 2014 LE EPS. I did some searching and saw people said fuel pump or spark plugs, but I guess I would just be suprised if it needed those since its got less than 700 miles.

Howdy all! Went out today to find a puddle of brake fluid on the driver side rear. Cleaned it well and drove it around to find more fluid coming out the small boot around the bottom pin of the caliper. Obviously I have a bad seal but I don’t know which parts to order for the job. I pulled up the parts schematic and saw there’s the piston, seal kit. Is that what I need to stop the leak? Also saw the pin seal boots top and bottom and a couple ring or washers, can’t remember. If anybody has tackled this job before, please let me know which parts I need to order and any tips to make the job as painless as possible. Thanks
i’ve done some searching and couldn’t find any results for an 800 (our weight class) Is there a recommended pressure for Mudlites for mixed trail riding. I’ve only had it a couple months but they look overly inflated compared to other rigs I see out on the trail. Is this a preference thing? And how low is too low…my trails have a mix of rocks , sand and mud with hard pack in between (these are 28"X11.5 R. 28"x9.5 F
I currently have the LTE duals. Sound great when freshly packed.
Guess I’m getting old and want quiet exhaust. Was thinking about going to the S exhaust system.
Will the S system work well? Do not know the sound of the S but has to be quiet and hopefully not as "bumble bee in a can" as the old cast iron header exhaust on original 800.
Was curious into getting the stage 2 clutch kit I believe it is? My buddy told me to take it to the dealership and just tell them I wanted a stage 2 kit and they would know what I was talking about. Few questions though, will I need to do anything else to it? How fast can I expect to go with this kit? And about how much will it run me? I want to make my rzr faster in the top end and I was told this is the way to go… I’m basically bone stock right now except for the high lifter springs. Let me know please, pros and cons etc.
I redid the top end last year its looking like the rings did not seat there are about 700 miles on it no dusting issues the only mod it is a slp performance silencer and alba racing fuel pump but there are three different compression ratios stock, ratio 10:2 THEN 11: 1 then 12:1 any ideas which one to use ?It will be a stock machine and just trail riding
hey I have a 2008 rzr 50 inch trail edition , new top end (wiseco) stock compression ratio ,with valve job and 4 new valves last year on labor day less than 700 miles on it since , 40 psi in one cylinder 80 in the other cylinder no oil burning it runs rich the digital wrench cleared all of the codes after installing a new crank sensor the digital wrench said it was bad ,no dust in the motor no dust in throttle body it seems like it was using coolant but I did have a small leak from the cab heater ,I still have not done a wet compression test yet im thinking head gasket but no overheating issues so Im not sure any ideas and input would be great
