Took a good mud ride a couple of weeks ago and apparently got mud in the throttle cable because it didn’t won’t to idle down. Replaced the throttle cable and works great but now it idles about 750 to 800 RPMs. Did I do something wrong. Is there a way to get my idle back up to normal RPMs? It idled fine before I replaced the cable.

A buddy of mine blew the motor on his 13 sportsman 850 xp and decided to just junk it. He offered to let me have all the power steering components from it. Does anyone know if there’s a way to make it work on a 50" Rzr?

Hi everybody. I have a question on the tps reset procedure. I’ve looked on here and read most of the threads but still have a question. I bought the tps reset harness with nine volt battery. Am I supposed to see the .738 volts at the idle position because I’m getting something like 3.8 volts. I had engine code 51 3 or 4. Can’t remember if I had low or high voltage I’d have to check again. And also had the high idle on occasion. But any way this voltage doesn’t seem right and wanted to make sure I was doing this right. Maybe my tps is bad but just want to confirm before I buy a new one. Thanks

Fella’s I am new to the Polaris world and have an 08 800 rzr. 1. The motor uses oil (it has 5000 miles) 2. I have what I believe is valve train noise. I believe after reading all the stories about the piss poor air cleaner set up that this motor may have been "dusted". The previous owner told me that the air cleaner cover had fallen off and he put screws in it so it wouldn’t happen again… HMM! After reading many posts regarding this I am looking for where to start. I need to get through this riding season. I haven’t even been able to take this out yet. So any recommendations would be helpful. I could just keep an eye on the oil and let it rattle and hope for the best. I don’t want to destroy the engine in the process. Option 1 top end ,rework the head and new lifters. Option 2 pull the motor and do a complete rebuild ,big bore and rzr S cam. I had no idea these things were such a money pit. I do not have unlimited funds ( Harleys and vintage snowmobile oval racing see to that). Option 3 complete engine swap using a ZR800 efi Arctic Cat snowmobile motor that I have. So help me out

Our rzr is a a Polaris dealer for a accident. I asked about power steering and they said polaris dicontinued them for our rzr. Does any one have any information on aftermarket units. My wife was very lucky on the accident. She was on a sesonal rd and a 6" diameter dead tree fell on the right side of the hood $2150 is the estimate and we have insurance

hey guys i got a 2014 rzr 800 i was wondering what i need to put a magnaflow exaust on? which exaust to get also? i know theres tons of threads on this but not a parts list. also what mods do you gotta do to put it on? thanks

I may be buying a 2010 Rzr 800 tomorrow. It has the stock Big Horns on her. I have some spare 28" Mega Mayhems and 29.5" Terminators and was wondering how big of tires I can put on the 800 with out any rubbing and clutching???

If I do clutching what do y’all think is the best clutch set up for the RZR 800???
