i have an ’09 800 50" pink edition…… yes….. pink…… so yes it has sway bars front and rear and i have recently installed the high lifter yellow springs for more capacity since i am a big guy. my question is that since the sway bars utilize the same bolt as the lower shock mounts, what size bolt do i need to replace it with? i know the length i need but what i need is the diameter of the bolt.. i do not have a local hardware store in my little town to compare it with, so i have to order them online. i do mostly slow going rocky trails so i need to get rid of these sway bars. Please help..

I was thinking about adding some lights to my front bumper but it would be in front of my radiator. Any thoughts about weather or not it would cause an over heating problem? Thanks

2011 RZR-S 800:

Noticed a while back that after a long ride, when trying to start the RZR, the starter would sometimes make a high-pitched whining/squealing sound, instead of spinning the motor over. If I stop cranking it, then try again, it spins over and starts right up, every time, just fine.

Last weekend, it happened every time I started the machine. Haven’t modified or touched anything in that area…. does this happen to others? Is there an easy fix? Not sure if it’s the starter going out, shims, weak wiring, or ?

Got a 09 RZR what air pressure do you run in front tires.I did run 5-6 but it makes it hard to steer so i now run 12 anyone else run this much?
Seems to ride the same and might go higher.

Hi folks:
I looked at a 2014 rzr 800 today. It was a 2014 model with about 900 kms and 75 hours.
It had a couple of issues that I need some advice on.
1. It was in pretty good shape, a few scratches and was missing the cover for the rad. No big deal but it had about $1300 in work done on it including tie rod ends and brakes. Would the cause of the tie rod damage cause the brakes to need to be replaced? I’m thinking it would have to be a pretty bad hit.
2. There was an odor of burning rubber when we were thru the test drive. We couldn’t track it down but I wonder if this is common.
3. It had lots of jam…but idled very rough. Ran smoothly under acceleration.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ive just got my new tires in and realized my front and back rims are different widths.
The new tires are all 29.5x10x12, my front RIM is 12×6 and the back is 12×8, the back should take the new tire seeing as the original tire was 25x10x12 but not sure about the front because of the rim only being 6", it had a 25x8x12 on it originally. If any one knows about this or has delt with the same thing i would appreciate any input you might have.

Currently in the proccess of an S conversion from outkast.

I see some of the tires I’m looking at offer a 26in in the 10 in width. Stock rears are 25x10x12. Will I run into any issues just going 1 in taller?

Just bought a 13 800 50in and I’m wanting new tires and wheels. What is the biggest tire I can run on a 14 in wheel without any rubbing, lift, or clutch upgrade. Don’t have to stay at 50 but would like to keep it close because our trails are mainly 4 wheeler trails.
