First of all, let me start by thanking everyone that has helped me so far. So much great info here. I bought this used 2011 rzr approximately 2 months ago and have been working on it since. I live in southern Ontario with no trails for miles around. So I do very little riding. A couple of times a year I go north to a family camp where we run some logging roads and paths to hidden lakes for fishing. That’s about the extent of my riding. However we are hrs from any town with parts, so I’m trying to get this rzr ready by next month. I’m looking for suggestions to issues that I should check before going north. The rzr appears stock and currently has 1100 miles on it.
As of today: I have changed all fluids and filters, checked clutches, blew them out because they were dirty, but they operate smoothly, replaced belt, sealed cover, replaced water pump seal and vented weep hole, changed most bushings, one wheel bearing, front lower ball joints, greased suspension, replaced and relocated fan circuit breaker, dielectric grease on all connections, new plugs, compression test 185psi per side, cleaned entire intake system and tmap sensor, cleaned grounds and connections.
I still have to set the toe, clean and grease inner tie rods, thinking of disconnecting front sway bar because of some of the rough trails I ride.
Is there anything I’m missing. What else should I check and what spares should I bring with me? Relays, fuses ect. Thanks again for all your help. Just don’t want to be left stranded because of something simple.

Well just bought my first rzr it’s a 2008 800 and I heard a noise coming from the clutch today so I took it apart and found the one way bearing in the primary was junk plus the buttons are junk too and it’s groved the towers pretty bad so it’s gonna need a new primary but don’t know where to find a good used one or cheap new one haven’t had much luck finding any.

I wanted one place to put all the small mods I have done / am working on so here it is. Please NOTE this is not a full off rebuild like I have seen here, I’m just doing small mods to get my RZR4 more to my Liking.
Here she is…… 2011 RZR 4 I picked up with 72 hrs last month.

Mods when I bought her were a Kicker stereo, Rugged 4 seat intercom System, Polaris Doors, Outerwear Pre-Filter, Polaris LightBar and Fox Shocks.

We have an 08 800 went out this weekend and it started revving real high like 3500 rpms when in nuteral. My wife had to shut the RZR off to shift and it was still hard to get into gear. Stopped for Lunch and then it would not go into any forward gear. Messed around with it for a while and went home and got a trailer. Got it home and I Can get H gear but it grinds and you really have to hold the shifter back to get it to go in. It has nothing in Low. No grinding no nothing. I am thinking we have 2 different problems but not sure what they are. What do you guys think?

We just took out our 12 RZR 50" for the first time on fireroads. We had our golden retriever with us. The rzr has doors, windshield, roof. We went for a 25 mile fireroad ride. It was very dusty. Anyway we were covered in dust everywhere. The dog was now gray. We get less dirty riding our dirt bikes. Is there anyway to solve this problem? It’s like the dust just got sucked into the interior of the rzr. We had no idea we would have this problem. Everything else was great. We would appreciate your help on this one. This could be a deal breaker on this rig.

Hey guys, my rZr 800 is making so weird vibration noise in reverse and just before machine comes to a stop in Low, in high it’s makes no noise
I cannot duplicate it in neutral either so I’ve ruled out power plant. I’ll try and post a video/ sound aswell, any thoughts?
