I have a 2010 model with a small crack in the header at the y in the pipe. Noticed sudden backfire. Does anyone know if this is safe to ride, or is it gonna cause more damage?

Hello all, I recently brought my daughter an 08 Rzr 800… The gentleman I purchased the Rzr from informed me he had just put a brand new battery in it. The Rzr has a radio, HID’s, 14inch LED bar and back up lites.. Now our first trip
out with it (Hatfield and McCoys, WV) I noticed the Battery light go to flashing while riding. If you cut it off while thw battery light was flashing, you would have to get a jump to get it started. The Battery light would flash anywhere between 5-10mins before going out. Once the light was out and you shut down the Rzr she would fire right bk up. i also have another 08 Rzr 800 with no issues, the rectifier is behind the driver seat the same on the other.. Could my Rectifier on my daughters Rzr be on the way out the door? I put a mulitmeter on the battery with the Rzr running and its charging 13.9 volts to the battery. When the Battery light comes on, its only charging 11.8volts.. Any idea’s or help greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Ok 2012 800 go to start cold and fires right up and everything sounds good. Take off and runs great. Stop and shut it off after its hot and when you restart the idle is up and down sometimes it will die and have to restart. If you get in the throttle it comes out of it. No engine lights. Afraid it’s gonna just quit. Anyone have something like this happen??

We completing the design of our RZR 800 oil filters and have found benefits if we have the ability to increase the filter diameter by .150".

Can any 800 owner provide information with regard to clearance around the existing filter and whether this relatively small O.D. increase would cause interference issues?

So I’ve broken my first of many axles. At first it looked to just be a broken CV joint but upon further inspection I figured out the axle shaft snapped off where it enters the outer CV joint. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the broken part of the shaft out of the CV joint? The joint is still good so i would hate to have to replace it because of the shaft being stuck in it.
