So I have a bit of a problem. 2010 800 just did an oil change I did over fill it by about 1/4 of a quart if that not sure didn’t measure it when I let it out but it was a lil bit above the last mark on the dipstic.
I noticed I had an oil leak took forever to narrow it down but finally did and it’s coming from the breather tub from the back of the motor. I did get it all cleaned out got the oil out of the tube and got the oil level to the proper fill height and it’s still coming out. Has anyone else had this problem? Did I over pressurize the system with it having to much oil in it? That’s what I thought but I figured it would of stopped doing it after I got the oil level to normal.
Did I screw something up inside the motor? I’m lost on this one
Maybe I still have 2 much oil in it because it’s just right at the top mark above the safe line
Does anyone have manual that covers setting up rear differentials?
What are correct gear backlash and/or pinion bearing pre-load?
Polaris does not cover it in their service manual and I have had no luck on finding a Spicer/Dana or Shafer service manual for the Model 26 Independent Suspension.

I put a gibson full exhaust on our rzr. Ever since I installed it, it has a bobble around 3000 rpm. Dosnt seem to bad when in the woods just when you are moving it around slow. If you nail it you don’t notice it. It’s just there like pulling into the shop or leaving on a slow start. Unit is all stock engine wise. No programer but I wonder if one is needed. New air cleaner. 1400 miles on it. Gibson says one is not needed and I talked to hunter works and they say one is not needed. It smells real rich at idle. Any thoughts

OK so when i purchased my bike i noticed it making a clacking sound whenever i turn hard right / hard left. the tires are hitting the inside wheel well. So, me being an idiot i cut a hole on each side for clearance. now it doesnt scrub as bad. i need to shave a little more off.
my question is have any of you done this? if so can you post pics of what you use to cover the holes? i dont want another passenger to lose a toe. ok, im kidding but that tire comes real close to others foot sometimes. the kit cost about 200. im thinking Lowes have something for $20.
Has any one used an after market company for the starter motor.. I don’t feel like paying 380.00 for a new polaris one.. You can buy them on ebay all day for 30.00-80.00 but who knows where they came from.. I seen a company that specializes in alternators starters for sxs’s relatively cheap Starters, Alternators and more for Cars, Trucks, Tractors and ATVs any suggestions or recommendations..
