CV Joint Refuses to Come Off Axle Shaft

Have bad CV boots. Trying to remove the outer CV joint, caliper end, and it refuses to come off. The other side was no problem. Purchased the special punch still will not come off. Are there any secrets others have discovered to get the CV joint off? At this point a little concerned and thinking a new axle maybe the way to go, but all this just to replace a torn boot? Any help out in forum land?

Transmission issues

Hey fellas,

I am stumped. So about two days ago I had a idle issue for a while where it was idling around 2500-3k I got that fix but we all know that means I was having shifting issues and grinding because the belt was never stopping. So I got all that worked out and I now have no reverse. I pulled the transmission out to see if it had spun a gear or something but that proved not to be true. Then I thought maybe something in the rear diff but I saw it spins the driveshaft when put in gear. I had a mechanic tell me if was the shift rod. I don’t know if I’m buying it and was wondering if any of y’all maybe had another idea. Thanks in advance!

Running all stock 25s.

If I understand corectly if I want to get bighorn originals 26x9x12 on the front and 26x11x12 on the rear will need a spacer or trim ?

1.75 or 2" spacer?

If I go stock size with bighorns is any modifications ness?

And does anyone have any pics of the trimmed area?
