Intermittent knocking
my 2008 started knocking sounded like a rod but it had not lost any power and ran smooth . Turned around to go back to the truck it was knocking away and by the time I got to the truck a couple miles there is only a slight noise to be heard . I had deep mud holes to go through and no lack of power .
Primary clutch wont release..please help!
I have a 2013 rzr 800…the primary clutch wont release…it looks like it is stuck on the bearing..i included pics…think is it looks more like a bushing….the bearing that the belt rides on feels good and sprins freely..what do you guys think?
new location for the air filter?
I have been messing around with locations for my air filter for a while now and I thought I would ask for some ideas / opinions.
I wasn’t a fan of the stock set up so I decided to "snorkel" it but I’m not a deep water rider so getting everything super high was never my goal. I put the cv intake in the bed and the exhaust pointed backwards on the passenger side just barley above the bed. And for awhile I had the intake right behind the drivers seat. During that time I had the front window installed and no rear window not knowing this would create alot of dust.
Since then I have installed the rear window in hopes of starting to help my dust problem and trust me I know just take the windows off and no more dust problem but even this time of year in montana it can be pretty cold we are already seeing 30 degrees at night so the windows are very nice to have.
All that rambling brings me to my question is the bed a bad spot for the air intake? Whare could I pull air from that would be better and not leave me with a super long intake pipe I would prefer to keep it as short as posible and also I hate the look of a pipe sticking up past the roof so keeping it low is a definite plus.
I also keep playing with the idea of getting rid of the box that the filter sits in and just putting a pipe on the throttle body with a filter on the end of the pipe. That box seems to be a week point for dust and instead of spending hundreds for a new better one why can’t it be eliminated completely?

2010 rzr 800 bogging
Hey everyone, I have been dealing with this problem for awhile now trying to resolve it and thus far my attempt have been useless , my 2010 polaris rzr will start and idle fine but 10 – 15 minutes into the ride I will trying giving it some gas and the engine will just bog out on me be giving me no power no rpm.
I am still able to drive at very low speeds just to get myselg home .
Where did it all start. Well I took it out and had punted the Rad while riding and i was about 3-4 hrs in the bush , so I had to crawl it back trying not to overheat it too bad but ofcourse it did and damage was done.
Since then we repaired everything we could fine, it seemed to run fine and then this issue started with the bogging , so we went back changed the fuel pump , took a part the engine noticed a couple valves were leaking fixed that , new pistons and the works , cleaned the t-bap sensor and still all of this did nothing to help resolve the issues I did take it in and all the mechanics at the time said was it’s probably the valves and so this is my last request for possible help before I end up spending way too much to repair it .
So if anyone had any suggestions my ears are open. Thanks

Fuel Pump Question
I made my own tester today and hooked it directly to the pump. When I switch the key it quickly moves the gauge to 12psi and then drops to zero. I am assuming my issue is a screwed pump. I just want to make sure my assumption is correct before I order a new pump (Airtex 8335) on Amazon. BTW, is that part number correct for my 09 800? Machine has 3500km on it and hasn’t worked right since I got it 4 months ago. Previous owner changed plugs, wires, coil, etc and said he couldnt figure it out. When I bought it, it simply spit and sputtered on occasion and gradually developed a bog to the point where it now pretty much only bogs when throttle is applied. Should I just order the new pump?
Spacers
OK folks lets talk spacers, I have a 2011, just bought new tires ITP Baja Cross 26x11x12 rear 26x9x12 front had to grind some motor mount off on the right rear, I’m thinking of getting 1" spacers front and back, what’s the best and cheapest?????
