rzr 800 starter issue
I hit the ignition and the starter turns the motor once and stops. 3 seconds later I can hit the starter and it will turn the motor over once and stop like something is in a bind. if I hit the starter once, then quickly hit it again after it binds (quickly as in 1 or 2 seconds later) it will stay in a bind.

I removed the starter and hit the ignition and it spins fine.
every once in a blue moon it starts and runs like nothing is wrong. it’s driving me crazy! if it’s not one thing, it’s another.
for the record, I have cleaned every connection on the + and – side. power and ground is good! it also has a new battery in it. 12v normal and it drops to 8v when it binds. battery held 12v when I removed the starter. I’ve even cranked on it with the charger set to 25V. same result.
Conversion to “S”-Axle Question
I’m having issues figuring out what will work for the axles, especially with information I have found searching here and on the web. I’m more confused because I saw several posts/instructions that I can re-use the CV’s from my 50" axles. Well, I popped the CV’s off an old rear axle and they won’t fit on the rear "S" halfshaft (which has no part # markings). The axle is slightly larger in diameter, but won’t go in the CV.
I haven’t taken apart the front to check them, but the shafts I received have 1332637 on them so I know they are the correct ones for the front. They appear to be the same larger diameter as the rear that doesn’t fit. Does anyone know if the front CV’s will take that 1332637 "S" axle shaft?
The other question I have, that I have been unable to have answered, is if I just drop the CV change out idea and go for complete axles, can I just purchase and pop in a COMPLETE "S" AXLE from one of the vendors and have it fit the 50" differentials and hubs?

Im new here not sure what I just bought
Now I own one did a bit of research before pulled the trigger and ended up with a 2009 800s has the fox podium shocks and a hole bunch of other ad ons looking to get a street plate so its a bit more legal in places.
The RZR also has a 2" lift and 11/2" wheel spacers with winch, intake, windshield and exhaust. Came with a set of sand tires too. Not sure i really need anything else except maybe a street kit?
O i also got this huge stereo setup the guy gave me that I have no intention of putting in so might just sell that I guess it cost a lot of $$ but I don’t really want it
Have a few questions though.
How often do I need to service the diffs?
Is the polaris oil decent or just off the shelf dino stuff?
How is the AWD system on these are they limited slip or lockers? I see you cant lock the diffs?
Any know issue ares that should be addressed right away?
Now keep in mind ill have the wife and kid most the time so nothing crazy will be going on unfortunately 🙁 But I do plan on using it a lot come spring/summer just want it to be reliable
