Does anyone know if there’s any possibility of a rzr4 s 1k comming out? I know polaris keeps everything a deep secret but I was just curious as to if anyone thought they might. I’m looking to buy a 4 seater in a few months but would wait if they were going to bring a new one out.

Windshield
I have searched around and looked at half a dozen different ones, full, half and flip down and good god there is some options lol.
I am not a fan of any windshield I like the wind in my face….. but we are going to be riding this winter and the wife wont like that so much :).
All I want is something to keep that cold air out of our faces, is a half windshield suitable for that? Anybody riding the cold weather and have thoughts about this?
UTV inc has a nice half windshield and it looks like it will fit with my cube lights.
Just wondering?
I’m a little about what everyone used to have as an off-road toy before the RZR 4 900. It looks like most of us bought one for the a-arms design, wanting a good dual purpose rig. So post up the old rig.
Here’s my old girl.

P.S. To the admins I’m only posting this here because I want to see want the 4 900 crew had before.

Any thoughts on a Viper 4500lb winch with synthetic rope. I had a Polaris 3500lb winch on my 2010 Polaris 800 4 seater and it never failed. Wanted to try Viper anyone use them and what winch mount will work on the 2015 Polaris 900 4 seater? ?
Spun belt on hill, with 1k tires, suggestions?
Got a 16′ 900-4. Just bolted up a set of 29" bighorn, 1k take offs. First time out, climbing a hill, from a stop I spun the belt. Hill had some ledges on it, and tires had good traction. I was trying to be easy on it and not give it to much throttle, to not spin the tires, however I heard the belt spin and smelled it. I was told they don’t have a clutch kit out for the 16’s. Anyone had any problems spinning belts on these. Anyone do much crawling or hill climbing with theres. I bought a 900 becausr of the A-arm set up so I could climb and ride trails with it. Hate that it won’t pull. Makes me think the new low gear may be a little to high. My dads ’12 xp-4 had no problems. Figured Id get yalls opinions on it.
Sway bar disconnect?
Noticed my 16′ has a rear sway bar. Comparing it to my dads 12′ xp900-4 which doesn’t. I was curious if anyone has removed it. Would it allow the rear suspension to travel a little more. We don’t do anthing fast, I was thinking by pulling it, the rear end my flex better possibly reducing the "rock" when dropping off a ledge. Anyone done this? Any thoughts on it?
2015 RZR 4 900 Is Included In Recall
Polaris has issued a recall of various 2015 models. The article posted on the front page of this forum isn’t clear about which models are included in the recall. The official recall notice posted on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website shows that the 2015 RZR 4 900 is included in the recall: Polaris Recalls RZR Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert) | CPSC.gov
front diff shim moved results!
Well after reading that moving the shim on the other side of pinion bearing would fix the loud noise from the front diff I knew I had to try it. First off to get the roll pin out that holds the front drive shaft to the pinion you will need a air hammer with a punch end on it, atleast I did. Was no way to get any leverage to knock it out with a hammer and punch. Second have a bigger set of snap ring pliers to get the snap ring off to get pinion out, I tried using a nice smaller set before going and buying a larger set up. End result was 75% better, was hoping for 100% fix but for as little money as I have it it Im happy with being 75% better.
