Gates C12 slipping? Just me?

I snorkeled my 2015 RZR S 900 and replaced factory belt with Gates C12 belt. Its been a month since i last rode. Went riding last Saturday, I don’t know if its me or if I’m having some slipping going on. I can hear every sound the belt makes now through my snorkels. Sometimes when im climbing a hill the belt will squeal a tiny bit and my rpms seem higher. (Ive never paid attention to rpms) I dont know if its just me cuz i can hear everything through the snorkels now
Never used this belt when it wasnt snorkeled.

First ride impressions

I took the RZR4 900 for a 100 mile ride this weekend and have a few first impressions. Overall it seems to bring in less dust than my 900 trail. Less dust in the cab and much less dust in the air filter. I do have the front end differential noise. It is not bad but does contribute to more overall noise. I checked the gas mileage and it got 16 mpg. I think I could do a little better if it had radial tires. The stock tires are pretty good overall. They do make a lot of harmonic noise when driven on pavement due to the fact that the lugs are all exactly the same size and not different sized like some radial tires. I added a Polaris overhead bag that I had over the drivers seat. I also put a Honda Pioneer cab frame bag on the bar behind the back seats. You can pick this up for $63 at ROcky mt. ATV and it fits perfectly even with the back seats adjusted all the way back. 6 zippered pockets for added storage room.

Steering wheel of and rzr is pulling

Last sat I was attempting to do a doughnut when the rzr caught traction and nearly flipped. Nothing is bent that I can tell by just looking, but the right front wheel is pointed out. It’s pulling to the right. It did not flip just raised up a little and came back down? Is it possible I just knocked the wheels out of line? The tie rod hasn’t moved because it was marked from the factory, marks are still in line with nut. Any thoughts?

Air filter mod

This is a mod that I have been running on my 900 trail for 1600 miles with good success. I take the inner fine filter from a Fleetguard/optiair 600 ( AF 26118) and cut the top 1 1/4 inches off of it. Then I can push it down inside the stock polaris paper filter to give me two stage filtering. I have to clean my paper filter after every ride by vacuuming and blowing it out. If this ever led to compromise in the paper filter I could dust the engine. By placing the fine filter inside the paper element i will trap any dirt that gets past the paper. So far I have never had any signs of dirt on the inner filter. I still replace the stock paper filter every 500 miles or so but keep the inner filter. I also use No tiol rim grease each time to get a good seal. I added this to my rzr4 900 for added safety. The black line is the portion I cut off on the cone shaped inner filter. The cost of the filter is only about $12.

Full Doors

Anybody have full doors on there 2015 rzr4 900? I’d like to get a set but haven’t seen anyone with them yet. Ive seen lots of lower door inserts.

My xp4 900 2013

I love my xp4 900 at some point it will become the trans am , it has amazed me at every turn , I was building a 77 cj 7 with a 05 Cadillac engine and trans and due to time constraints I settled for the razor , it did everything better than my jeep did, I love the dunes and I needed paddle tires so I got with Dave At Fss and he set me up with the perfect sand tires , I raced a 1k at Pismo with paddle tires and he couldn’t pull me , it felt good because I used the forum and I got good results, alba Nate hooked me up with a slip on that sounds great ,I love this forum even though we didn’t always agree!!!
