Have new 2015 XP1000 with 80 miles on it , riding down switch backs at 12,000 ft on to ST John’s trail in central Colorado , low gear , 4 wheel switch on , pretty much idling down when there was a bang and then a loud metallic clattering sound ! I immediately thought belt was gone but gave it a little throttle and still had power . This happened 2 times , very unnerving ! Made it back my trailer. Took it to a Polaris dealer near where I’m staying right away thinking the clutch was destroyed and they told me they could NOT find anything wrong ! Then while I was at the dealer another guy comes in with the same problem, same XP1000 year and they told him the same thing ! Any body out there know anything or have experienced this problem ? I’m have afraid to take it into the back country for fear of getting stranded!
Does anybody know if I have to pull the engine to replace the oil pan in my XP 4 1000? It doesn’t look like it can be removed without pulling it or at least getting it unbolted and moved up a little. Anybody done this before?

Went riding this weekend and my rzr started to get hot so I turned it off, and left the key on with the fan running it got to about 235 and puked coolant out of the overflow jug. Then it cooled down and pulled the coolant back down, it was still a little above the minimum line. We rode for a little while longer, and got lost and wound up in the exact same spot. My rzr got hot again, so I turned it off and left the key on so my fan would run it cooled down again, only thing different was it did not come out of the overflow this time. We continued on and it ran fine the rest of the day, it seemed like the thermostat was stuck closed then opened and let the coolant to go back down in the overflow jug. Also when it was spewing out the jug, the hose on the passenger side of the car was hard, and when the coolant returned the hose was soft enough to squeeze. What do you guy’s think? Any help will be appreciated.
Was out riding recently had the bike drop to one cylinder on the trail. Was just after going through a shallow mud hole. Got the bike home and found I don’t have a spark on the "PTO" cylinder. So far the coilpack and plug wire have been replaced and the plug tested good.
Where does a person look now? I’m being told it may be the ecu… Any info would be greatly appreciated as this has me stumped.

This past weekend we went out riding and i noticed my rzr making some weird noises on low rpm. When i would shift it into gear and bearly get on the gas (3-5mph) my rzr will just jump act like if it wasnt on gear and move slowly but jumping at the same time and I would hear some loud cracking/grinding/rattling noises coming from the engine or so. Pretty hard to explain something like if a driveshaft was lose or a transmission problem. Im only about 36hrs into it with about 500miles i believe. I already replaced one belt and drove it without any problems. What I find weird is that even though it makes those loud noises after it get going 10mph+ I dont hear or have any issues…
