Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and hoping someone can help me out. I just purchased a 1986 350x (living my childhood dream 🙂 ) and it was been sitting some time before I bought it. Tried to start it after changing the oil and spark plug realized I am not getting any spark. I have used the service manual and multi-meter to check all values at the ignition coil and CDI and everything checks good there.
I have also cleaned all contacts including the ground and tried disconnecting the on/off switch (open= run from what I have been reading).
My 2012 honda foreman won’t start . When you push the ignition the solinoid continues to click. Have tried to cross the solinoid out and nothing happens, just barely a spark . Battery connections are fine. Any suggestions.
Hello all, over the weekend I changed the oil in the wife’s and my machines. All went well until afterwards when I put the old oil in the empty bottles and noticed that the partial bottle said motorcycle instead of ATV. It takes 2.9 quarts and the .9 was the motorcycle. All is vavloline and the bottles look the same. Question is do I need to change it again or is it ok? Thanks Rick

I just rebuild the top end of my 2000 honda rancher 350 es 2wd I had it bored with wiseco piston and ring cause it broke the skirt off the original piston since the rebuilt it has not been rode hard it’s been cruised around on trials and I did run it hard for about 50 yards after the first 3 hrs or so of running. I think I did break in right I started it let it get warm let it cool a couple time rode it for 15 20 mins let it cool and so on now after 115 hrs have been put on the rebuilt it started smoking. When it started it parked it and let it sit for a few weeks till I got time to tear it back down. I started it to load it on the trailer is smoked really bad I torn it down found oil sitting on the piston. The rings r still free not broken the ring gaps r in the right spot and the intake valve is clean of carbon build up does have oil on it but the exhaust valve is covered in carbon and oil top if the piston was clean too other than oil where is the oil getting it to the cylinder from. Sorry about the long post but I need help lol
Has started making a strange clattering noise when moving under power (as in, it doesn’t do it if you just push it). It doesn’t do it in reverse, only forward.
The engine doesn’t run roughly, and it doesn’t seem to have lost any power, but the noise is very alarming. Ideas?
TIA
I’m having an issue where the display on my 2014 Honda Rancher will not cycle through different display menus. I press the button and the display won’t move or change position and then all of a sudden the screen will start flashing between menus for 30 seconds. When it starts to cycle there is no way to stop it. Could this be a warranty issue or is there something I can check quickly before I take it in?
