I have a 95′ trx200d, the exhaust pipe works but needs replacing. Can I cut it off at the pipe and buy like a universal fmf pipe and weld it on?

I have a 4 year old TRX420FE with 6000 miles under its belt. While doing some slow stop-start work with a 600lb trailer the cooling fan was coming in occasionally but no real signs of a hot engine and certainly no temperature warning light. After a while engine started coughing and spluttering and then gave all the impressions of working against a very heavy load. I eventually switched it off as it felt as though it was about to seize up altogether. Left it overnight and then made sure all oils, coolant, air filter and warning lights ok. It started and ran normally as if nothing had happened. Any suggestions as to possible causes would be gratefully received.

Alright I went riding a couple months ago and my head gasket blew, I parked my quad and ordered the gasket. Long story short I was too lazy to fix it, I finally tore into it and fixed it. Now I’m ready to test it out and have a little fun right? I put the key in it and turn it on, no lights, neutral light or even the start button working! I searched and searched and it’s probably something simple, but I am lost! I charged the battery and tightened the negative up on it because it was a little loose. The quad set out in the weather for probably 3 months, stupid me. Everything worked before I left it outside.
This is on a 2000 400ex by the way, and if anybody knows why I have to wiggle my kill switch off and on real fast for it to start that’d be great, lol. Done it since I got it, I replaced the whole switch on the handle bars and it still does it. I can short across the solenoid and get it to start the key and kill switch work, but the lights and neutral light won’t along with the start button.

Started after sitting for about 6 months. Rode for awhile, parked it then won’t start. Tried a little shot of starting fluid but didn’t hit at all so I assume it’s electrical. Kill switch is in run position. Charged the battery. Ignition switch and neutral light is on. Any suggestions?

So I took the baffle out of my 700xx just to see how loud it was… Rode it for about 5 minutes and now it won’t start? I’m thinking ecu re flash? Not sure. Any ideas?

I tried jump starting it, checking and cleaning the spark plug- it was very wet.
I tried putting back the baffle and it still wouldn’t start.
The fuel pump primes and when you try to start it for a few moments it will drip gas. So it’s running to rich for sure.
If you have any idea.. Or know how to reset the ecu without the dealer let me know. Thanks!

How much base compression should a 2012 TRX420FM have?

Looking for some help. I have an 86 Fourtrax 250, and when it runs, it runs perfect. When it won’t, no spark, nothing. Currently, no spark, and can’t get to run. I have replaced Stator, Coil, and CDI. Any other suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated!! Also, there is no rhyme or reason why it won’t run. What I mean is that it’s not a problem that it only quits when it’s hot, or something like that. It may be stone cold and not run for days, and nothing. Come back 8 hours later, and first cylinder up, and she’s purring. And then all of a sudden, riding fine, and just quits.
