I just had to replace the key switch on my 06 trx300ex due to it getting ripped off while being transported to go ride. So with no key I cut the wire and twisted the positive and negative together to get power. When i parked the bike I made sure the wires weren’t touching so it wouldn’t drain the battery. Well when I took the head light off to access the male and female plug I no longer get power. No head lights no nothing.I have a new battery and new key switch in the bike only way I get power is to connect it to a know good battery with jumper cables and then connecting the loose ground cable to the ground post on the quad battery and taking the positive cable and clamping it to both the positive and negative at the key switch then it will start but then the reverse light comes on while in neautral instead of the neautral light. And help would greatly be appreciated.

hello, I just got a small tire repair kit from walmart that comes with 6 plugs some patches 2 co2 cartages and a few other items. its the thin you hope you never need but its there just incase. my question is, will a single cartage inflate on of out tires? looking at it I would not think it would but the tires only hold something like 3 LBS. thanks and sorry for the silly question but it has me scratching my head.

My son has a 2015 Honda TRX 90. He as ridden it 4 times, twice when he got it last winter and then twice this past weekend. He has the learning screw on and any time I try to give him more room on the throttle the bike will fall on its face when you open it wide up. If you adjust the screw back in to where he had been riding the bike runs great. I also noticed the drain/over flow hose is leaking gas. Not pouring but getting worse. I have drained the carb and run the carb dry every time we have stored it so I’m a little hesitant to start ripping the carb apart, its basically brand new.
Any insight would be great. He’s a great kid and loves riding and I want to get him running a few more times this summer before the hunting season opens and he isn’t allowed to ride there anymore. I also don’t want my Honda detonating! I’d like to have it around for 20 or so years. I am no gas mechanic but pretty handy so I should be able to follow.

It has been sitting up for a few months needing carb cleaning. Got that done and made a couple of loops around the yard. Came back, parked it, went in the house for a glass of tea. Came out and pulled the starter rope a couple of times then BOING!!! Locked up. Put it in gear it will roll back but totally locked up pushing forward… Anybody got a clue what I need to try for diagnosis? I’ve been into a lot of engines but never into a scooter engine… this is totally new to me. We did pull the spark plug and tried to turn it over but NOTHING… so, I’m quite sure it is not hydro-locked.
