2004 trx250tm electrical problem

Hello all. I’m having a flustrating el problem. The neutral light flickers. The starter will not work. The solenoid click, but starter motor won’t engage. I can’t ever jump the solenoid and get it to work. Headlight only work sometimes. I’ve checked the battery it checks good and I’ve charged it and that made no improvements. I’ve wiggled every wire and cleaned the 2 large ground connects at the rear. What am I missing? I should add, it can be pull started and runs great. With the atv running the neutral still flickers.

400Ex loses power once it’s warmed up

So I just finished a lot of tinkering with my carb trying to get jetting and mixtures correct and thought I finally had it. Started easily good throttle response and hauled donkey on my thirty second test run. The next day I took it for a longer run an after like ten minutes it began to lose all power at higher rpms when I rolled into it like it would sound the same but I’m going half as fast as I should be and it would cut out completely if I hit it fast and it was backfiring a lot. I assumed maybe I had jetted it when it wasn’t completely warmed up. But isn’t backfiring usually associated with running lean and if I jetted it to run well when cold then I would have a rich condition once it’s hot right?

2011 TRX420FE – Rancher – Shift Motor

Hi, I just replaced my Shift Control Motor. Bike runs now, thank god. I had a previous post where I was getting code 24. Anyways, one item that I did notice is that if I press upshift from time to time, the shifting does not occur. Is this a normal occurrence with the auto shifter? I have actually pressed the button several times and had no shifting take place. In order to make the shifting work, I had to keep pressing up.

Is there anything I can check to make sure my shifting gears are ok or a maintenance procedure I can look up in my maint manual to either correct this or make sure everything is in proper order?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.:icon_ devil:
