New Pinion Bearing Problem

I am literally about to pull my hair out.

I am rebuilding the rear diff for my brother in laws machine thus replacing all of the bearings.
I had to use a three jaw puller to get the old pinion gear bearing off the pinion. Long story short I have now purchased 4 differential aftermarket kits (some have been returned or refunded) including old faithful all balls (because everywhere online was back ordered ). All 4 of the bearings (yes they are the correct ones because they have the SCO4A90N on them like the OEM) slide right on to the pinion bearing–I do not have to press them on.

Does this matter? Am I the only one that has ever had this problem?Would y’all use them or should I just wait for the OEM back ordered ones?

Fuel leak

Hi all, seeking help again. I have noticed a small gas drip coming from a hose that looks like its attached from the carb and hangs down thru the frame, like a vent hose. Any ideas? Thanks

Power being drained somewhere

Good afternoon forums,

Haven’t ridden in about 6 weeks (I know, travesty!!!), and when I went to start it up the battery was dead. Bought a new battery this May, so don’t think that is the problem.

I boosted it, ran the Quad for about 10 minutes and turned it off after getting it all loaded up to go out. Checked it again to see if it would start, wouldn’t go.

Boosted it again, let it run and went inside to eat. Came back out about 40 minutes later, and the Quad was off and wouldn’t start. Engine was cool, so I don’t think it ran for more than 15-20 minutes or so.

Winch is hooked up directly to the battery (not through ignition), and has a wireless switch if I turn it on. Nothing else has been changed on wiring though.

Alternator? Power drain somewhere?

1999 Honda Recon clutch nut sizes

Anybody for sure what the sizes of the nuts (#21 and #22) are in this photo? The fische identifies them as 16mm and 18mm special nuts but they are larger than 16 or 18. I put a 13/16 on the centrifugal clutch nut and it was too small. Maybe the 18 is a 22mm and the 16 is a 20mm? I have plenty of sockets but not many deep well ones…

1987 trx250x spark issue

1987 250x. Looses spark after it heats up. Spark comes back after it cools off.I removed kill switch, there is no key switch, reverse safety is still hooked up, new plug, any suggestions on where to start. I have no spare parts to swap with. The only thing close I have is a 1991 Kawasaki klr 250 and a maxxam 150 buggy. Would the ignition coils be swappable, cdi swappable? Thanks

red light on 01 rubicon 500 need help!

Alright this is my last effort befor i say screw it and ride it and hope she doesnt blow. My red temp light is on and never goes out. I have washed out the radiator, made sure it has coolant. I have changed both the thermo unit AND the oil temp sensor with no fix. When i ground the thermo unit my fan does kick on. I have not ridden it long enough to see if the fan turns on as i have only had this bike a month and was trying to fix it befor i tore something up. But at this point with no fix and trying everything im about to just ride it and forget the red light. Are these things smart enough to detect a stuck t-stat? Or air in the coolent system? my oil is all good but seems kinda full, would this throw the red light if its to full? and lastly if your going to say look in the repair manual; dont bother replying as i am needing advice on a fix and ive already looked in the manual numerous times i am needing advice not a look in the manual.
