Gas Line

I was riding my trx250x and suddenly it died. I checked the gas level (full) and then I checked the fuel switch. It was ‘on’. I checked the gas line and it isn’t moving gasoline through. Reserve, however, does work fine. How do I fix this? Any instruction manuals y’all got?

Won’t run when hot

I have an 08 420 that runs perfect when it is cold but after it warms up it acts like it has a rev limiter. It will still idle, but will not rev up. It did this occasionally at first, but has gotten to the point where it does it every time. The Radiator is clean and water flows great. I have tried removing the thermostat, I have replace the ECM…when it cools down it runs great again.

So I have a 99 fourtrax 300 4×4, and as you might recall I rebuilt the top end about a month ago, since it smoked like crazy when I got it. Since the rebuild out runs great, no smoke at all, idles perfect, has good power throughout the entire rpm range.

Problem is that the plug is soot black, indicating a rich running condition. also doesn’t seem to be getting nearly the mileage it should. supposedly has a newer carb on it, no fuel in the air box or coming out overflow, basically no other symptoms. I have adjusted the pilot screw per the service manual, but I don’t have a tach for it so I did the best I could.

Anything else I can try our should I let sleeping dogs lie?

recon engine noise

I’m dealing with an ’07 Recon ES. We were trail riding yesterday when my wife stopped me to let me know that her engine was making a strange clatter. The performance did not seem to be effected at all. It didn’t sound like it would be catastrophic, so we finished our ride & loaded the trailer.
Tonight, I had a chance to give it a quick look over. It is a "heavier" tick than valves, but not as deep as a rod bearing. I also noticed that after the engine is shut off, I can hear something "spinning down" for approx 10 seconds before it comes to a sudden stop. (I never notice this noise before, but it may have been there all along.)
Does this sound like a problem in the starter clutch? Is there anything that is a "common" problem with these engines?
