Sons rancher just stopped running towed it home 2 days later he started it up ran 20 min stopped again will not fire at plug new plug same thing new plug coil still no fire ck fuses all good any ideas would be appreciated . Thanks

1979 honda odyssey fl250 help

hello I am new to the site and I have joined cause I need some help with an fl250 that I have acquired. I got it and it was in shambles but my cousin had it in a shed for almost 10 years and decided to pass it on so I was glad to take it. the issue I am having is having to do with spark. I thought maybe it was a coil but I got a new one and tried it and it was not the problem. trying to trace it but I don’t know the values or exactly how to test it so any help would be appreciated as it is driving me and 10 other of my friends nuts! thanks in advance

300ex shifting problems

Hi I’m new to the site! I have a 98 300 ex that I bought as a project and took it down to the frame had all powder coated and new bearing all installed. I took the engine down and split the cases because the rod bearing was bad. I put new crankshaft and balancer in and had the transmission checked by the dealer to make sure it was all good. I then put the cases back together and put everything back on. Before I put the top end on I decided to test and see if I could shift the engine. The engine will not let me shift into any gear. I tried turning the crankshaft to see if I could shift and it wouldn’t let me. I then retook it back down and split the case again. I looked at the drum shifter and it spins all around like its suppose to. Any help I would appreciate. Thanks for looking hope to hear soon what it could be!

Adding grease fittings to ball joints?

I am dealing with a ’01 400ex. I noticed that 1 of my ball joint boots is ripped. I am planning on replacing that boot with something that comes close, if I can find one. I was also wanting to add grease fittings to all of the ball joints since they are not grease-able. Has anyone done this with any success?

2014 Honda foreman fan not working

Today, while riding my foreman, my oil temp light came on . I pulled over and shut it off . Typically you can turn the motor off and switch the ignition back on and the fan will run if it’s hot… No fan. I checked the fan fuse and it was good. I wiggled the connections and still nothing.. Any ideas?

Honda 350 rancher rebuild nightmare! Need help

Picked up bike from a friend smoking, figured I’d do a top end and timing chain and use it to putt around the yard. Well problem one came from lack of research, after I pulled jug and head off and dropped it off at local shop for a rework stood bike up on rear rack and pulled front of motor off to change timing chain and well I’m sure you all know how that turned out! Put it all back toghether, my friend insisted he had done this 1000 times and pulled motor out of bike removed the back cover down to chain and saw 3 marks on the cam gear and said he was unsure and had a friend he would ask the next day since it was late that night. Long story short he has had stuff to do every night since, so I timed the motor using the line and spinning it over the intake valve was open at tdc. Pretty sure this was not correct I did it with the 350 dot hoping it was right since I had a 350, it appears the valves are closed at tdc and open at right times so I put motor back toghter and set it in the bike with out mounting everything just to see if it will pop off before I fully install. So here is my ?s did I time it right. And now ,my neutral light does not come on and there is no fire to the plug. I have checked all wire connections three or four times. Really at a pull my hair out point not knowing if I have done something wrong inside the motor or something isn’t right outside or if by coincidence something has went ou. Sorry so long winded but wanted to give as much info as possible

03′ RANCHER 4X4 FINAL DRIVE u joint REPLACEMENT

I need to replace the final drive shaft and u joint on my bike. 2003 honda es rancher 350 4×4. I already have the parts but i want to know the easiest way to replace this part. should i take the swing arm off at the pivot point or should i remove the rear end and slide the shaft and u joint out that way? the swing arm mount has the large allen head bolt on the left side and a special bolt on the right side. (needs a specific tool)? has anyone done this job before? thanks for the help.
