Today the engine light started blinking, when it was not running so I didn’t think much of it until I started it up and it was blinking 2 times normal and 3 times somewhat faster. It paused for about 3 seconds then did it all over again?! Then it would stay on as I would shift gears as I’m driving it, it would just repeat itself. It’s about 6months old taken very well care of and it just hit 100 miles I believe. It is still under warranty but I wanted to ask for help before I took it to my local Honda dealership. Thanks for the help!! I do have a video of it but I’m not sure how or if I can post it.

This is what i know, you can jump relay in battery box with key in run and it will start. if you rev engine lights dim, and get bright again as engine goes down. I checked key for power and it turns power on and off as you cycle key. Green light does not come on until it is running, and then it is dim. If i just turn key on to start it, green light does not come on, head lights will not burn, nothing. If i kick start it it will start and run. Help please!

I sold my 2006 rancher and bought a 2013 rancher AT from an older lady that used it on her hobby farm.It had 12 miles on it and no fluids have been changed .I went to the honda dealer to get set up. Oil/ filter and then did not see the hypoid gear oil on the shelf so I asked where it was the parts guy said grab a bottle of HP trans pro honda 80w/85w 32 oz .They were busy so I grabbed it and left . I get home look in the manual and it says gear case oil drain and fill 3.0 US oz hypoid gear oil sea 80 . on the next page it says differential oil hypoid gear oil sea 80 drain and fill 7.8 US oz .

So does this atv have transmission fluid that needs changed 3.0 US oz ? Can I use this HP trans 80w in the diffs ? That is what I bought it for as they did not have the hypoid gear oil . I would call the dealer but they are closed today .I searched online for a bit with no luck .

Hey everyone, I’m new to the site and have been looking through some of the forums here and all I can say is wow �� the level of knowledge here is quite impressive. With that said I’m hoping you can help me out here. I have an 82 Honda 200 3 wheeler that I bought a little more than a month ago. Its runs quite well but does have some issues. Such as no idle unless u rip on it a lil bit,engine smokes, and it doesn’t seem to like mid throttle as it spits and sputters and acts like ot missing but will gladly take full throttle or light throttle. That all being said. I know I need to have the carb rebuilt. And the smoking is due to the rings being worn out. So my question is does anyone know where I can purchase a complete engine rebuild kit? I figure that if the top end will need work then I better have it done right and due the bottom end as well to save from trouble and headaches down the line. I did a compression test on the engine and got a reading of about 125psi which seems low to me. Also what could cause the stumbling,spitting,and sputtering at mid range throttle? It smokes the worst when its doing the stumbling etc. I located a shop locally that is willing to do the work and even willing to let me provide the parts needed to do the rebuild. I plan on acquiring the parts needed as money permits. So not in a rush to get them just trying to find out where to get them. The trike runs great and I can usually get it to start on the 1st pull of the rip cord just as long as my thumb is on the throttle it fires right up. So thanks in advance and sorry for the length as i try to be as through as possible when I try to explain mechanical problems/issues online. Thanks again,Bill
