Hey outlaws, I wasn’t sure where to post this ?, I thought about putting it in my ’03 trx450fm rebuild thread ?, seeing how I just remembered that I needed to replace all my air vent lines for the front brakes, front differential, and rear brake and rear differential !. I have seen this topic come up a lot in the past. some say to use windshield washer line, and a few other products ?. well..the $ 64,000.00 dollar question has been solved !!!. I searched online, thinking of what would work just as good ?..and a lot cheaper than oem tubing from Honda ?..well outlaws..i have found the perfect product !. 25ft of air line for fish tanks !. cost ? a little over 3 bucks !!. BEAT THAT HONDA !..LOL. I also picked up some t-ways to connect the lines. here is some pic’s of what I just now bought. I got these at Wal-Mart.

I have a 2002 honda recon that I just put a new piston, rod and crank into. My problem is, when I put the motor back in and connected all wires, it will not shift into the lower gears! I have 4th and 5th and when shifted into reverse I have 3rd. What did I do wrong?

if cdi is bad will that keep my start button from working? Also can anyone tell me how to bypass natural safety switch so i can crank it in any gear.

I have a green 2005 rancher and one of my plastics has broken. I am looking for a replacement part and I can’t find the exact part number for sale. The part number on the plastic is 83500-HN7-0000. It is a trx350te5 Thanks for any help!!!

Im new to 4 wheelers and working on them. I have a 1992 350 Honda fourtrax that was given to me. I was told the head gasket was gone on it and I found a ton of old dried oil on the front of the cylinder.

I took the valve cover off and then the cylinder head. The gasket seems fine. Now i think it was because oil blew out of the valve cover.

I am going to change the head gasket anyways. Also i am going to get some gasket in a tube to use on the valve cover.

I have read around a few posts and learned a lot.

-Should I put anti sieze compound on my studs and bolts before I put the cylinder back on?

-what else should I think about?

I have a 1985 Fourtrax that we bought new in 85. Used daily on farm for 20 years but now only used every month or so. I have noticed that when I crank the 4 wheeler it will idle and warm up but the more I drive it the hotter and faster it revs to the point that when you shift gears it wants to pop up so I have to cut it off and let it cool down and then it’s OK. The motor gets so hot it will burn your leg on the muffler side of the engine. Could this be a carb. problem? We have never re-built or changed anything on the 4 wheeler other than standard maintenance items like oil, grease, battery, filter, plug. Thanks.

So I just did the second oil change in my rancher (first I have done since I got the wheeler) I added the 2.9 qts and replaced the filter with an OEM Honda. once complete I started the wheeler let run for a few minutes shut it down and let it sit for about 2 minutes, checked the oil no oil on the dip stick at all no leaks at all. so I figured I installed the filter wrong, I had to go to work so the bike sat for a couple days, pulled the bike back out checked the dip stick and it was reading Full. Started the wheeler repeated the prior steps. no oil on the dip stick, drained oil removed filter reinstalled, same as prior results this morning dip stick reading full. start it take out trash no oil on dip stick after motor is shut off. is this normal that the oil will not be present on the dip stick for a long period of time after wheeler is running, if you look in the fill cap you can see all the oil in the top of the motor.

Just put a new carburetor on it today because it wasn’t running right. Now when I go downhill it wants to run fast and going uphill it cuts out. (I bought it used). It is also smoking some, blue and white smoke. Any clue what could be wrong????
