Hey guys got around to replacing the pet cock on my ’95 trx300fw. Bought one off eBay. Got the old one off and re-installed the new one. The outlet on the new petcock is much smaller than than the original. So I read on here y’all were using 1/4in fuel line. Although 5/16in works but still leaks even with hose clamps. Well I just happened to have some 1/4in fuel line from a outboard project. It fits the petcock but it won’t fit the inlet to the carb. So I guess my question is what is the correct fuel line size? Why do these after market petcocks have a smaller outlets? I was thinking I have the wrong petcock, but all the ones I’m finding have the same outlet.

My dumb kid neighbor was given a 2001 Rancher 2wd by his grandpa. He loved to ride it on the tidal flats (salt water and mud) but was too lazy to wash it, so the frame has rusted out. They had the engine rebuilt a few years ago. It still runs but he and his dad are clueless about how to fix anything. His research involved asking the dealer about a frame. The honda dealer said $1600, so his dad bought him another new for wheeler instead (!)

I am confident that I can pick the atv up fairly cheap, I’m thinking around $200.

I just need to know what years and models frame will work so I can be on the look out for either a complete gag needing an engine, or pick up a frame from an atv salvage yard.

Help! My 350FE rancher won t run over 1/2 throttle . Reaches 1/2 Throttle then starts spuddering like it has a rev limiter. Does it have a rev limiter?
Cleaned and rebuilt carb with a Moose kit. New choke valve. No change. Gas flow out of tank good.
New Spark plug. No change.

Can anybody help with this? I have a 81 honda atc 200. There is no spark but it will run when towed with another atv and bump started. Will not start with pull chord. Once it is going, shut it of and it will start again with pull chord. I tried it a dozen times afterwards and starts no problem. Come back the next day and will not start again. I replaced the ignition coil at the stator. Still the same. Could it be the cdi? I assume that’s the little black box mounted in rubber under the gas tank.
Any ideas?

Alright guys I picked up a 01 400ex dirt cheap that needed rebuilt. So after examination of everything I’m led to believe the guy blew it up because it was stupid lean. Don’t know what piston it was because it was destroyed. It has k&n filter, Curtis sparks exhaust. stock cam. When I pulled the carb apart it was stock, main and pilot jet were stock. Needle was in middle clip so its stock. On the rebuild it will have the K&N and the Curtis sparks exhaust. 10:1 wiseco 85.5mm piston. Where should I start jetting wise and what range of jets should I pick up so that way I have what I need.

Hey everyone!!! I have a 2008 420 rancher. We were riding it the other day and I killed it for a few minutes and now it will not fire at the plug anymore.. I checked all fuses and changed to a new spark plug and still nothing!! I pulled the hot wire back on the coin and put a test light on the coil prong and it was hot when I hit the start button.. Any suggestions?? Coil maybe??? PLEASE HELP. Thanks

today I replaced the fuel filter in the fuel pump on my 2007 Rincon, Honda has replaced the original with an upgraded one, the old filter was on the bottom of the fuel pump while the new one is in the vertical position on the side of the pump, you replace the plastic housing that slides over the pump by removing the old one and putting the new one on, there is an "O" ring at the inlet of the pump that may fall off and not be noticed, if it is missed during assembly, that little "o" ring will keep the Rincon from starting, if you check at the injector it will look like it is working but will not have enough pressure to get to the spark plug, since I didn’t have a pressure gauge I had to follow it forward to find what was happening, I had spark, fuel pump was running but it wouldn’t start, hope this might save someone a lot of head scratching, it made a job that should take abt an hour to several hours with a lot of head scratching, my wife says my hair will grow back in

Need to replace my rear axle bearing on my TRX250 Recon. Bearing was destroyed. My bearing puller is falling to make contact with remains of old bearing (used to working on cars).

Is their a trick for getting the seal out? Not much there to grab onto.
