Hello i have a new 2015 rancher i put 18 miles on it first ride checked oil to go riding again per manual dont thread dip stick in not even reading on stick is it normal for new rancher to use oil ?
I changed to rotella t-6 syn oil in my Rincon and have been realy happy
with the way shifts and no slipping from a start and drive cold. now the question????? my jugs of t-6 syn oil has the JASO-MA specs on them.
I whent to buy more today and this store has the same oil in the blue jugs
t-6 syn oil heavy duty for diesel engines but there is no JASO-MA spec on these
jugs. is there 2 kinds of this rotella t-6 syn oil??????
we have changed the plug, coil wire and clean the carb. runs good for about 15 min. then starts to stall. starts right back up then stalls. can juice the gas and kind of keep it going. will always restart.
could this be electrical? Possible ICM?
BTW is the ICM and a CDI control the same?

My son and I were out riding with no problems. UNTIL we tried unloading the quad when we were done. Tried starting it and no power. No lights (Neutral, head light or tail light). Checked the connection from the ignition to the wires. That was good. Checked battery, plenty of juice. Checked fuse by solenoid, that was good. Jumped the solenoid and I could get the engine to turn over, but not start. I ordered a new ignition switch (aftermarket $10). Waiting for that to come in. IF I am wrong I am only out $10. Is there something else that could be wrong that I could check before this ignition switch comes in?
Hi guys new to forum. I’ve been searching everywhere for an answer and can’t find it. I just bought a 2013 Honda rancher. The guy said he thinks back differential is out. He has no clue though. So basically the back axel just spins freely, it won’t catch. This guy has never done any maintenance on it. What should I check, do. It’s not making any weird noises at all

I’ve pulled the bulbs out and they don’t appear to be burned out.
My 2nd thought was fuses, but I don’t know where to look to find them?
The 4 wheeler works great other that that issue. But I’d really like to see where I’m driving in the dark while at my deer lease… So any help would be much appreciated. Hopefully it’ll be a quick fix.

Hey still new to the sit but I’m about to split the case on my Rubicon I just bought from a lying craigslister I bought it because I was told it just wouldn’t shift and the clutch case was split so I couldn’t test it but anyways my Rubicon symptoms were it wouldn’t move unless in esp mode and in 4th or 5th gear and it felt like the brakes wear stuck on while in gear but not when in neutral also when I checked the oil pressure it was good when first started but would drop majorly within no time at all I dnt know if it had any grinding noises before all this or not because they guy lied and said the shift motor wasn’t working I’m pretty mechanically inclined but if I run into a problem I’ll ask other than that just wanted to put a thread up Incase I get somwere with it if it’s the hondamatic I may not be able to afford to fix it so hopefully I manage to get it going because it seems like a sweet Quad
