my buddy owns a 93 300ex, and he was riding it today, and she all of a sudden shut off, and we can not get her started again.
I tested the battery and she reads over 12V, i jumped the soliniod post with a screw driver and got nothing, I even jumped 12V directly to the starter and nothing.
Now what weird is, when we put a battery charger on her, the green N light would glow brighter, and the solinoid would click when hitting the start button, but when we take the charger off, the light dulls, and the solinoid won’t click.
any help would be great, we also tried swapping my computer, and rectifier(the thing with fins on the back near the battery), and still got no change.
I have a 06 foreman s 500 that 1st went out so I remove the motor and replaced the gears. I finally got everything back together but gear indicator isn’t show correct gear. I can get the motor to run but when I put it in gear it acts like it want to move but doesn’t go anywhere. I raise the back tires off the ground and they spin and won’t move after I lower it .has anyone had this problem before

Alright, My boyfriend has an 08 Rancher 420 electric shift. Every now and then it acted like it didn’t want to shift. Well the other day it had to be revved up to shift and a couple minutes later it wouldn’t shift at all. Walked back home got my 300 to pull it back and it shifted fine but once we got home it didn’t want to shift again. It does this randomly, every now and then its fine but for the most part now it acts up. We have swapped the battery, checked the shift motor and it works and the connector looks good. We have both looked over the wiring and didn’t see any issues. It does have the code 24 that flashes. I have downloaded the manual and tried some of the trouble shooting and it checks out. But I had to come back for the wiring diagram.I Anybody have any ideas?

i have an 02 400ex. i was riding it the other day and all the sudden it bogged way down. It ran perfectly before this. Now it just cuts in and out. It starts fine and idles fine but when i hold the throttle down its like it has no power and cuts in and out. I have a friend that told me it was the stator but I wanted to make sure thats what it was before I bought a replacement. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.
Okay. I bought a Honda rancher back in April and have since only used two tanks of gas. This thing is brand new!
I found a good deal on a couple of light bars online and I bought them for the four wheeler. I have a 24inch light bar at the front. And two 6led pods on the back. I took it to one of my really good friends and we mounted the lights on the four wheeler. The 24 inch light bar up front it connected into the bright lights of the four wheeler. If your on low beams and hit the brights, then the brights and the led light bar cuts on. For the two in the back, we have it wired up to a toggle switch and it is cut on and off by a switch that we mounted up front. It was driving great all day long after we mounted them. Everything was working fine and I was extremely pleased. But tonight when I went to go load up the four wheeler, I went to go open the garage and when I returned to the wheeler outside it was off. I thought it was weird and so I tried to crank it back up and it did not respond.
Here are the symptoms
The lights up front will not cut on. Neither light bar or regular lights. But the toggle switch works and the back lights cut on. I messed with it a little bit and couldn’t get a response so I then tried to push it inside. It will not roll forward. But however it will roll back. I had to turn it around and roll it back into the garage.
I have not messed with it since and will try again tomorrow. I am just trying to get some ideas as to what it could be. I am thinking it is a battery issue and somehow the toggle diet u might have drained it. But it shouldn’t have.
I should probably note that a few days ago I was riding and I hit kind of a big bump. When I hit the bump my four wheeler shut off. I tried to crank it again and it did not cut on. I tried it a third time and then it finally turned over and I then drove it a little bit more. Back to the truck atleast.
I am conacting my buddy who knows about these kind of things and has his own shop. But I’m just kind of getting an idea as to what it could be before I try some stuff tomorrow.
