I have a 2006 Rancher TRX400FGA, and after my last oil change, I was unable to reset the oil change light. I did the normal hold the Odo and Clock buttons at the same time for 3+ sec, to no avail. I’ve tried it many times under many conditions for various lengths of time – notta.
Could this be a sensor issue? If so, what sensor? Thanks!

Hey Guys, new guy here…. I recently bought a Honda 400ex after $1000 for the quad and $1200 to the local shop it’s running… However, seems to me as everytime I hit the headlights on the 15amp fuse in the rear battery area blows…. Also the neutral light stays on every gear, sometimes blinking on and off slowly….. Can’t seem to find the issue…. I have a random blue wire thst comes from the back area colenoid battery area. And is attached to a random bolt on the frame… Definitely not where it goes… But when I ungrounded it the quad won’t fire by switch…… Maybe my problem I’m unsure…… Indo know when the fuse blows the start switch and headlights do not work…. ANY IDEAS WHERE TO START? THANKS IN ADVANCED….. F’IN NEW GUY…. FNG

I have an 07 rubicon that has sporadic shifting issues. It has the hondamatic transmission. It will sometimes work in D1, D2,and esp fine. but eventually the gear indicator will soon begin to blink and it will stop shifting. Sometimes it will "find" its gear back and I can resume shifting normally. It seems to do better when the shift lever is in low. I also notice sometimes when in reverse it sputters out but will eventually even out and reverse normally. I have pulled the trouble code and returned a 6 which indicates the angle sensor. Are my symptoms indicative of a bad sensor? In my mind if the sensor was bad it wouldn’t shift at all unlike mine which seems to work 50% of the time.

I had to buy new plastic and a battery for my quad.
As soon as I connect both the positive and negative wires to the battery, the quad begins to turn over to start.
No wiring came with the rear plastic I purchased. I believe I’m missing the wiring for the 15a fuse. What’s that wiring called, and could that be the reason to why the bike by-passes the push-button starter?
I rebuilt the carburetor my 96 trx300 last year with a rebuild kit and new hoses. (I only use non ethanol gas)
Drained the carb and let it set up all winter. It will now crank but when I give it gas it will die. I replaced the gas and added sea foam. Let it run for about 20 minutes. No help. I checked the vacuum hose and it is clear. What do you think is the problem? I was thinking I should pull the carb and clean it again.
