I know its not a honda guys but hoping somebody can help me,
I put a snorkel on it, 1 1/2 in all the way 1 90 and 2 45’s. rejetted the carb to 140 main and 40 pilot. fuel air mix screw was set to 1 7/8 like manual calls for.
Issue is can not give it full throttle, acts like it wants to die and back fires. any help would be appreciated.
I got a 2003 honda 250 recon ES from my girlfriends dad, and he let somebody borrow it and they lost the key so tore the ignition and was hot wiring it or something. i have the wire, im not sure where to hook it up too though. and also where would the ground cable be located at on this four wheeler? im having trouble finding it. they also nigger rigged the rear wiring harness or something like that. theres about 15 fuses seperated between 3 different cables. and all of them is red. 😉 also, there is this other thing that looks sort of like a solenoid? there was already a solenoid hooked up and i got it to turn over but it just quit. so im wondering if this other thing needs to be hooked up or what? im not sure if it has something to do with the electric shift or something. but yeah a wiring diagram would also be nice for like the rear. cause im not sure how to set this stuff up. i really just want to know what fuses do i need to have on here. and what goes where if somebody could find a diagram that would help me out HUGELY! thanks much!!!

Ok, so I purchased a 1986 Honda 200sx in pieces with unknown problems. I now have the atv back together and ready to start up.
I plugged in the battery and turned on the key, shifted down as far as it would go and no neutral light turned on. I then clicked up one gear and still no light, I clicked up one more gear and the reverse light came on, in between that gear and the next made the neutral light come on and the engine would crank but not start. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this issue? Thanks in advance.
Hi, new to this forum. I have a 31 year old Yamaha ATV that has always run great but I’ve had problems with my my Honda since it was new (my 04 Honda CBR600RR has been flawless).
My Fourtrax Rancher 420 will just die all of of a sudden. It would then restart easily. A year or so ago it died and would not restart. I checked all the connections and fuses and everything seemed OK, after doing this it restarted easily. This happened a few times and restarted easily after doing this check, but yesterday when it died I found the positive connection was loose. I tightened it but no luck. I’ve taken all the electrical connections off, taken a brass brush to them, re-tightened but still no luck. Battery is fully charged, volts at the solenoid are good. Any ideas?

Hi all I asked for help here and tried what was suggested here is where I am at . The machine is a 2007 rancher Trx420te7 I was told that when it first broke down it ran fine and was showing signs of trans trouble it was left exposed to the rain and snow for over a year with the display- meter without any glass on it I opened the meter display and it is destroyed full of water mud and corrosion not fix able .I have gone through the manual and tested all that I could everything test ok ,I can get it to run if I spray gas in the throttle body,but will not run on its own ,I have 51psi at the injector input and injector test ok as far as resistance and voltage.Could the damage to the display caused a problem with the PGM-Fi -Pcm – Ecm in short the computer in the manual it said there is a war to rest the computer but I have no display it also Sid I should replace the computer with one that was know to work in Canadian money that is $1000.00 plus shipping a expensive test even if that works I may still have trans problem to fix any ideas,what I can try next ,should I scrap it that would be a shame because it looks to be in great shape,is it easy or cheaper to try and change it to a cabarator instead of fuel injector any help would be appreciated.:icon_ cry:
