TRX 500 down on power

the last couple times I rode my 01 Foremen Rubicon i noticed it could barley pull its own weight not to mention turn the 28’s over.It never has been a real torque monster but its to a ridiculous point now.any ideas?im undecided if it the motor or maybe something in the transmission.it acts like something is just holding it back.

starter motor for 83 ATC 200E

is there a big difference between a starter motor that is designed for a 200, and that of a 250. I see 250’s online for under 50 bucks, but one for a 200 is over 100 bucks. I thought a starter motor was a starter motor. what is the big difference and why so much for the 200?

Do I need to replace my valve guides?

Hey all,
So right now in the shop I’m working on a crf230 that had skipped timing and bent both valves pretty good. I’ve replaced the valves and timing chain and the intake valve is not seating properly. When I shine a light down the intake port I can still see light out of about 1/3 of the mating surface. and I’ve spent a good amount of time lapping it. Seems to stay about the same. Do yall think the guide bent a little when the valve was hit? or is the cast around it more likely to give? I don’t have a reamer, otherwise I could probably do that fairly easily. what do yall think?

Any advice appreciated,

-Pierce
