No kits are made for the airbox of the 425 Xpedition 5 speed (no need to worry about belts,) but has anyone snorkeled the air intake/airbox before & where did they make it go to?
..don’t want it by the gas tank/handle bars….prefer up by the front rack
Anything else I will need to snorkel besides front/rear diff’s?
Where/how should I make the snorkel go from the airbox to the front rack/in front of the handle bars…
..any help/suggestions on what to use/where to route it?
Low on oil, wanted to add some.
Manual says 0w40 synth.
Dealer says 5w50 synth.
Manual says 4.5 quart capacity.
Dealer sells an "oil change kit" that has 2 quarts and a filter.
Very confused.
Anyone here have real life, practical advice on oil for this vintage machine?
325 Xpedition, new to me. Base model, no gauge cluster.
There is a switch on the right hand grip for turning on the ‘on demand 4 wheel drive’. No light to indicate when it if engaged.
Originally it appeared that the 4 wheel function did not work at all, but after some use (no idea how long it sat at the dealer) it started working.
Now it certainly does NOT work in reverse, gave it one heck of a work out today.
I ass-u-me that the 4 wheel drive should work in reverse.
Any ideas on how to rectify this?
ive got a Polaris xplorer 250 2 stroke 4×4. oil injected air cooled. the fan hasn’t been working on it and I was riding trails for about an hour then it sounded like the motor got a little louder than normal then just bogged down and shut off. wont start back up. im assuming it got hot and now needs to be re built or the oil pump went bad. im new to 2 strokes so can someone give me a link to a rebuild kit that I would need for it. I think its a 2000-2002 model

I’m looking for the 6 clutch discs that are necessary for the clutch in a 2002 Xpedition 325 atv. I have tried Polaris dealers and some online stores but no one seems to have what I need. They keep telling me it is discontinued. Does anyone know where I could find these parts? Thanks.
I have a 97 Xplorer 400L it starts and runs fine but I don’t have a speedo or any dash lights or headlights or brake light. Seams like it should be something simple, any suggestions please?
I have a ’96 400 xplorer which i recently rebuild after it dropped a bearing in the balancer shaft. she ran great for a while after the rebuild but now has real trouble idling before dying, it will then only fire back up if i give it some choke. when it runs it pulls clean all the way through the revs. I did adjust the idle screw but no change and checked the carb and manifold for air leaks, it seems good. any ideas?
