so i noticed the other day the my 2011 850 xp was sitting low on the front right corner. when i put a level across the fron rack, it showed that its sitting about 3/4" to 1" lower on the right side.
I checked to make sure i had all of my springs at the same setting (turned all the way down to soft setting). I checked to make sure the spring was not broke.
so my only guess is that possibly the shock has lost its charge and should be rebuilt? a guy at work told me he rebuilds his dirt bike shocks once a year (changes the oil and recharges the nitrogen). can the stock polaris shocks be rebuilt? is this even my issue?
I have been looking to buy another Polaris for a while now. I already have a 2006 500×2 and a 2010 500ho that we use at our ranch in East Texas, but it seems that every time I turn around someone (wife, dad, stepmother, friend etc) is gone somewhere on them. So I want one that they do not take off on… well I really cannot tell my wife not to, but you get what I mean. 🙂
Anyway, I found this 2013 850 LE touring with 95 hours and about 600 miles on it. The guy just moved from Colorado hence the snow blade which I will not need in East Texas, but it looks pretty clean. He just does not use it any more as he has no place to ride unless he goes somewhere. He said everything works and it is as clean as it looks. I can have it for $7,500 which I think sounds good, what do you guys think?

Was looking at high lifters part number SPRPR850. Too bad they are yellow. Found them on ebay. any thoughts
In March i broke the stock belt on my sportsman 850. I replaced with a gates belt. After about 400 miles i started to get a chattering noise from the belt area. I replaced with a polaris belt. No changed. still clunks. It would happens when there is a load like join up hill. Doesnt matter if its in 2wd, 4wd, high or low range. Taking back to the dealer ( extender warranty). Just wondering if anyone has some input.

As soon as I go over half throttle it bogs down. It starts and idles fine. I’ve changed spark plugs, air filter, and the belt is good. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Looky what I had waiting for me at home today! Can’t wait to get them on the Machine. Will post pics of them on the ATV as soon as I get them installed in a couple of days.
