Guys,

I have an 88 Trail Boss 4X4 that I’m attempting to get a snow plow for. The only mount that I’ve seen which might be close to fitting is for an 89 Trail Boss from Cycle Country. Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the lower parts of the frames between the two years? I see a difference on the top but the bottom section looks the same. Thanks

I just recently picked this unit up for my daughter and am trying to get it on the roar, but am having issues trying to get it to start.

I just recently went out and boughtb we battery for it plugged it it, hit the start switch and no claim (starter solenoid), no nothing. Is it fair to say that at this point, my starter solenoid is shot or ?

I have the body off of it and am not seeing any shorted / exposed or "hacked" wiring loom, either.

Pull start doesn’t seem to work either. At the mo, I’d justt like to hear a click or something letting me know that it’s try to start. Ill say this, the starter solenoid I haveon it now, s very corroded over.

Hi Guys! I have a older 330 trail boss 2×4 that was running great until it heated up then would cut out and only run with the choke out. cleaned tank and carb but now it runs good but idles rough. and if you shut it off starts right back up.
but if it dies it wont start or fire. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have replaced ignition box. Problem still occurs that when I turn key I get plug to fire one time and then nothing. No matter how many times I hold switch to crank it only fires one time then nothing. Help

The primary at idle is super noisey and it is constandly engaging
The primary is this normal or should I swap it out for my other
Clutch idle is set to spec

I have a 1987 Polaris trail boss 250. When fuel is turned on, fuel shoots out the carb vent.

Carb was cleaned and rebuilt by me with a kit.

Took it to Polaris dealer to have it fixed. They said float was out of adjustment and fixed that. Get it home, and still doing the same thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

while running there is quite a bit of fuel pouring out bottom of motor? I pulled the second cover the recoil is on, as this is where I saw it coming from. could not see the crank seal as it is behind the stator. It is clean in there , as I was thinking with all the gas/oil leaking out it would be a mess in there. any thoughts as to what is causing the leaking ?

This machine starts and runs 1/4 throttle,idles great, but under load wont pull past 10 mph tops.BOGS DOWN TIL U LET OFF THROTTLE THEN IDLES FINE..no backfire or such just wont go… i changed and even added a second fuel filter. blew airbox out and ran great for 30 mins and back to same ol issue.. Any suggestions with this ghost issue. its in great shape for age hasnt had a ton of use.Also im getting fuel out the bottom overflow tube. the more i accelerate the more fuel comes out.i. i taped bowl several times to see if float was stuck no change. That carb looks fun to get to!!!!

any help would be greatly appreciated it is a 4 stroke motor automatic drive..beautiful reliable machine otherwise. i own honda and yamaha 4 strokes but this ones giving me buggy eyes!
