New to the boards and apologize if this thread is beating a dead horse but upgrading my Sportsman 500 exhaust and curious of the feedback on the sound, longevity, and performance of these two systems. Videos would be great. Thanks.

Will a 3" lift be too much angle for the axles? If so I’ll just go with a 2". Just curious from any of you that may have a lift kit or know a good bit of the good and bad about them.

Hello. I have an 04 sportsman 700 twin. My AWD isn’t working. Also speedo has an E on it. I have no idea why or what to do for it. It doesn’t change no matter what gear I’m in. It always displays E.

Hey guys my Carbureted 2010 sportsman sputtered and died in the water this past weekend and when I turned the key back on after I cycled my key when it died, my battery light came on with the service wrench icon, I got winched out and after three cranks it started right up and runs fine now, no water in air box/no milky oil/no issues/no service lights. Just curious if anyone had this issue before? I have my carb breather line ran up to my headlight pod and the drain bowl hose was plugged off when I was in the water. I also have dielectric grease in my plug boot but did not check if it was wet when I got out of the water? Any ideas?

Hello Everyone, New here.. Got a quick question to those out there who know more, about these type of quads. I got a 2012 polaris sportsman h.o.. just reached my 1000km on my speedometer yesterday. Anyway’s.. I went out mudding, Tryed to cross a small creek. I got stuck in about a foot of mud, I shouldve went for it but thought nah, Eventually got stuck. I sat there for about a good half hour, Til my buddy showed up and pulled me out, Bike was all muddy.. Everything was fine, but I noticed that when I was in the water for awhile, My fan did not kick in, or start up.. I didn’t notice til after.. I left from there, to wash off all the mud and spray under, all over.. the quad. I went home parked, had supper.. went out, and went to see where I got stuck, I didn’t go in mud this time. But once I got home from a 8 minute ride, I was ready to leave again but I noticed My hot engine light was on? I parked it.. and One more thing, I got up around 4 this morning it was cold out, and went out to my quad, I turned the key, and still.. hot engine light, I touched my engine and it was cold? :ponder:
