I have a 2006 500 sportsman. Will tires from a 2014 sportsman 850 xp fit on my 500?. I have 12 inch rims. The 2014 has 14 inch aluminum rims and they are 26 tires. Just wondering if they will bolt right on and fit.

Wheels loose???
2004 Sportsman 500HO with 1860 miles on it. With the front end jacked up I can wiggle the tires, both sides. A little play in them. Not sure if that is just the way they are normally or if both bearings are bad? It rides fine and doesn’t seem to have any issues, but want to make sure. Thanks

Mods for Old Polaris 400L 2 Strokes and others 2 strokes.
Hi everyone,
One of my ATV’s is a 97 Sportsman 400L 2 stroke 4×4.
So I’m doing a 400L and other 2 Stroke Mods to save your 2 Stroke!
One of the biggest problems they have is the water pump seals wearing out and leaking Anti-freeze into the Crank case, if not caught fast it will lead to scored counter balance shaft, worn bearings and like mine piston failed due to water oil mix in crank case.
I’m going start posting Mods I cam up with to help keep the few thats left running for a long time.
Some of my Mods are:
1. Water Pump removal and replacement with electric pump.
2. Polaris indicator Bulb replacement with LED Lights.
(Indicator bulbs show Neutral, HOT, Reverse ETC..)
3. High Temperature switch Audio warning.
4. WATER flow INDICATOR if no water is flowing when running it warns you!
(In case Water pump fails or Electric Water Pump Fails)
Other Mods are in the works too.
I’ll be posting pictures of the Mods soon and how too’s.

Factory / Stock Driven Clutch???
I purchased a qsc kit for my 2014 400 Sportsman and I do like it however when riding slow with my 12 year old (most of my riding) I like the factory better. Does anyone know what holes the spring goes into on the clutch and helix? I think its 2 and 2 but could use a little help. Thanks for help in advance>

This is my first and the only one quad. I bought new one in 2010 and we travel together over 8600 km and 263 mth. I love him 😉
I will write about my ideas of modification, which are already described on Polish forum ATV Polska, in my theme (715 posts, 27000 views), a little later. I need solution of one problem now.
After the engine start, looking on oil filter and clutch cover, I see the engine specific vibration. I didn’t see it before.
I finished service of gearbox and it was took off from the quad. After montage it looked normal, but this vibration is something new I think.
Can you check your SP 500 and look at it? Maybe somebody knows anything about that?
