04 500 snrkel help

im having trouble finding a air box adapter to make a snorkel kit. I know rubber down has but there out of stock. is there anywhere else to look or how do you guys make custom ones? triangle doesn’t have them and neither does snork your atv.

Bought an 03 sportsman 700, have a few questions.

I bought an 03 Sportsman 700 twin. It runs and drives it has a few little issues like the oil dipstick tube has a chaffed hole and it spitting out oil that was an easy fix and diagnosis. It needs rear wheel bearings also.

This is my first fourwheeler its rough around the edges but i only paid $1000 for it.

One of the main questions i have is about the suspension i think, When i turn left the right front tire feels like its going to roll right over when weight gets put on that side. When i turn to the right i feel like i can turn sharp at 30-40 mph without a problem (exagerated im sure), is that just a bad shock? it also pulls right when going down a flat dirt rode i actually have to turn left a little to go straight. There doesnt seem to be any clunking or anything goin on.
What should i look for in the front end to make sure its tight?

Also the kill switch is very finacky it has to be in the on position but towards the off position or else the display doesnt work and they wheeler wont turn on.

I need help! problem starting

Ok I just bought a 2008 sportsman’s 800.. runs and drives good but if you ride it whenever yo u turn it off it won’t crank back up for 20 minutes. Brand new battery and all power on bike works but when go to crank it doesn’t make a sound(won’t turn over). Even if I only ride for 5 minutes , it won’t crank back up. Please help I’m new at this. It’s has new ignition also but it I let it sit for 20 minutes it cranks and runs fine

Sportsman 500 choke problem

I have a 2000 Sportsman 500 which had starting problems. I removed the carburetor and put in a new Carb kit. The engine now starts very reliably but there are issues with the choke. When cold, I pull the choke and it starts and the idle runs fast. After warming up, I push the choke in, the idle speed settles down and it idles nicely. However when I give it throttle it baulks and has very little power. If I pull the choke out, I get power but the idle is poor.
I have been trying to figure out where I have gone wrong but can’t quite get there.

Sportsman a arm bolts loose fix??

Hey guys. A couple months ago, 3 of us did a bit of riding for 4 days. Well into day 3 my friend riding a 14 570 had his right side lower aft a arm bolt fall out causing the arm to fall out as well as the cv joint. I checked mine and I had 2 loose bolts. Our other friend had 2 loose and one was about to fall out on his 12 500.

We tightened them with the fisher price wrenches in the kit and continued. 570 guy was done. Next day after about 70 more miles, 500 guys were loose again. One of mine too I think. Can’t remember exactly.

Tightened again and ride a bit more and all was well since. No riding lately though.

My question—obviously the locking feature of the lock washers on the a arm bolt are not working. Has anyone replaced the washers with another kind to prevent this from happening?

I was throwing around the idea of nord lock washers ( google it) unless someone had some other fix etc

Let me know what you all have done!!
