I just replaced the CVs in my 2013 on both sides under extended warranty. I also just had to replace the CV on my girlfriend’s 2014 on the caliper side which I did myself last night. I have 350 miles on mine, she has about 300. We do mostly semi-rough to smooth trail riding but nothing too extreme. My boots had slight tears so I chalked it up to that. Her boots are perfect.
Are the OEM CVs crap on these machines?

Is there such a thing as a factory shop manual for ATVs? That’s the one I believe vehicle manufacturers publish for their dealership mechanics. Trying to find one for a ’11 700 Grizz. Or anything similar would be helpful.

I noticed my ADC reservoir was empty on my 08 Sportsman Touring 500. When I filled it up it drained out onto the garage floor in about 5 minutes. The bike seems to operate fine otherwise and the ADC makes the normal engagement noises on decents. Anyone dealt with this?
I have a 99 Sportsman 335, the EBS was working fine till about a week ago, going down a steep hill with no brakes. Any ideas on what might have happened to it and how to fix it?

I have a 2011 sportsman 800. Been using it for huntin, trail riding, typical stuff.
I’m starting to get a bit more into deep water/mud and other sticky spots I have no business playing in. 1st bought some tires. 28×10 & 28×12 mud zillas. By themselves they took my quad to a whole new level which made the going deep bug a little bit worse. Obviously I need a clutch kit, recommendations?
My main issue that I have noticed, outside of (it doesn’t quite float and I need to get snorkels) is that it dies on a regular basis when I get into deep water, and I’m on the throttle trying to keep the front end up. But it always starts back up. Now I can just idle and drive normally through water, exhaust buried, with no problem. I went through and sealed up most all of the electrical connections, so Now I’m stumped. Exhaust Pressure? I guess I don’t understand why it will idle under water, and start underwater, but I can’t be at half throttle under water.
Anyone got any ideas for me? I plan on stripping it down in the next few week and doing an overhaul on it and getting it snorkled.
