Hi all, I’m having a electronic issue with my Sportsman 500. While driving, I realize that I lose electrical power on occasion. So my speedo and low beams just shut off randomly, and come back on after some time. Battery is new and connections are tight. I’m not sure its related, but both my low beam bulbs burned out recently as well.
From my reading, these symptoms lead towards a bad speedometer unit.
What do you guys think?
Hi I have a 99 sportsman and I just got it out of stoarge yesterday. I use it for hunting and it hasn’t been rode since January. i got on it to load it up yesterday and no brakes and it was pushing brake fluid out of rear resivior. I have deteremined I need rear pads and a seal kit for the caliper.
My question is how hard is it gonna be to replace the caliper seals and how exactly do you do it. Im a mechanic so I know my way around tools but I have never rebuilt a caliper before.
